Barty should probably have opted for the QWC, in retrospect.

You have to give Brinyi some credit - his Haas hate has been unabated for well-nigh 15 years now!

I don't think I really needed all this Pospisil-Querrey coverage.
Has Sveta ever played well at Wimbledon? The best I can remember her doing was a QF effort one year.

Um ... why is there a Momentum meter on the ATP scores page?

I don't think I really needed all this Pospisil-Querrey coverage. Ha! Yeah, I could live without that. I'm going to watch my first match, Woz v Pasz. Great feed from CASTAMP has Lindsay Davenport commentary!

Really nice to see Keothavong win! She has suffered a lot at Wimbledon. She has an Olympics WC too, which is also nice given that it'll be held 10 minutes away from where she (and I) live.

Ha, two matches stopped at MP.
I am really surprised to see STD about to beat Manislas! I thought STD, like his girlfriend, hated grass!

STD was junior Wimbledon champ and I think he used to do really well at Newport. Not that either of those things really mean anything in the grand scheme of things, but I doubt he's F Word Grass.

Also Stan the Man approaches clay specialization if you look at the Tour as a continuum, doesn't he.

Yvetta replied to me on Twitter after that last night I'm sure the Bimbledon schedule didn't use to get this backed-up without a lot more rain than this.

Also Stan the Man approaches clay specialization if you look at the Tour as a continuum, doesn't he. Oh, I guess his most notable results have come on clay. I've seen him play on grass several times (more than STD) and he's definitely not uncomfortable on it though. That Murray five-setter sticks out in particular.

Q. Sharapova is one of your sharpest opponents here. Can you comment on her development back to this position from her problems. SERENA WILLIAMS: Yeah. She had a lot of issues. It took her about five years to get back. Like I said a couple weeks ago, I was really happy and proud for her. I looked up to that because I’ve had some issues myself. I’m a year back and I’m already in the top 10. I’m trying to do like she does and just keep going.

Ha, we live in the same borough of London, so within 10 minutes' walk of each other. She was born and raised here. I'm very fond of this area, which couldn't be further from the stuffy, middle class, pampered stereotype of GBR tennis. This is why I cheer for her so heartily despite...her results!

Anne Keothavong @annekeothavong And I'm so proud to say I'll be representing Great Britain at the Olympics! Think I could cry with joy about that. #lifelongdream Awwwwwww (And she's next in, so probably didn't even need the WC.)

I've seen this bit happen in so many Schiavone matches where she's outgunned at first, then the more powerful opponent wavers just slightly and bang, Fran suddenly gets inspired and fights her way back into it. Schiavone's epic comebacks usually go thusly: - first half of the match, Fran attempts to impersonate a shotmaker and go toe to toe with her opponent in baseline rallies, and fails miserably at it; - down a set and a break, Fran finally stops clowning around, sticks to hardk0re retrieving and the shanks that were flying into the stands a few minutes before begin landing on the lines, draws errors from tired opponent with junk spinning in every conceivable direction. Petra K. was comically bad. Thankfully she was up against someone who can't play anything resembling tennis.
