Some of the blame for the massive ace count goes to Azza stubbornly standing on the baseline every time. Just get the ball back when you're winning most rallies.

Before that second set I was just hoping for Aga to win some games, any games in the final, but now I'm reasonably confident she'll do that. Serena is still mediocre-to-bad at all the non-serve elements of her game.

Aga will make it close since she'll win most rallies too, but we know what's coming.

I assumed it'd be an annihilation since Serena would just tee off on Aga's serve and hit aces, but she could barely make an impact on Zheng's serve - and Aga's is better - and hasn't really improved since. Plus as Leena says Aga will win most rallies.
4 and 3 sounds about right.

What a hideous final. I'd love for Silliams to win a 5th Wimbledon title!

Serena hit 24 fucking aces in a two set match? She broke the record (her own, from like, 5 days ago) set in a 9-7 third set.
I need A-Rad to take the ASV approach. Serena is not a God! You come to play her, not to worship her!
