Murray misses another half-opportunity - 15-30 on Fed's serve, putaway FH, goes long. Fed goes on to hold.

Fahrenheit > Celsius. And it sucks to be in Hurleyland this summer, or any summer, or any time really. Quoted for truth.

The Sampras record falls Murray's fate was sealed the minute the roof was closed tbh. Federer was irresistible after that.

When Murray had that BH at breakpoint at 4-4 in the second and hit it long, that's when I knew it was over. But I liked that he went for it. Like I said earlier, he won a set. Baby steps.

Take that, Srbija LOL Well done, Olderer! Still obviously has it in him! If you think about it, every first slam that the Big 3 won, they had to play someone who was not in their league. For Federer it was Phillippousis, for Nadal - Puerta and for Djokovic it was Tsonga. Murray had to face either Federer or Djokovic in his.

I blame Roger for starting this "losing men cry" trend.

Looking forward to all the new digs Roger will take at Andy in his presser.

Olympics are going to be really something with British athletes weeping and sobbing right and left!

I have no problem with crying losers who have yet to win one. He's not crying cause he hasn't won his 15th slam today. Plus, it's a home slam.

If this had been Novak or Rafa or anyone else in the final beating Muzza, they'd have been shot by now.

I can get Murray crying at this one. The country/tournament, still not winning one, etc.
Unlike Roj, who just needed to fucking grow a pair.

If this had been Novak or Rafa or anyone else in the final beating Muzza, they'd have been shot by now. During the match I never even had a feeling that this is a home crowd for Andy. Seriously, they were so quiet. I even think Roger got a bigger cheer when he was announced as winner.

I heard a lot of cheering for Andy, but I did not hear an appreciative difference between that and the cheering for Roger. Let's put it that way.

The British will just never do raucous cheering. I rolled my eyes when the tears started but felt for him by the end, think he didn't disgrace himself there at all.

Vesnina is so great to watch in doubles, it transforms her. Unbelievable reflexes and so mentally clutch.
She and Paes just broke Mike Bryan as he served for the match, saved a MP along the way...

Momentum changing again. Hope Vesnina wins but Paes' returning is horrendous.
