He said he thinks it's his ACL. That's probably the end of him after all of his other injuries. Oh no! So it IS a Mary Pierce.

I'm reserving judgment on the timing of the grunt until we can be sure it's not just an artifact of delayed sound through the faraway feed. But the sound itself is ridiculous enough. When I was watching it on my Mac, I had no delay on the feed. It's definitely a delayed grunt, like Schiavone at a Sharapova pitch. Oh, okay. I thought the same, since I watched 2 men grunting already tonight with no sound delays, but I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I just want SOMEONE in sewta besides Akgul and Krazy Kuz to root for.

I just hope maybe, just maybe, Brian is wrong with his self-diagnosis and it will be a thing like Petko's, a reasonably recoverable thing. Off to bed in sorrow.

I use PlayOn to stream to my PS3. It's a lot easier if you have a 360, but I don't. It was also a giant pain to finally get it right. B-Bakes injury makes me sad. This Jerzy guy is awesome, though (like that's a shock).

The serve isn't nearly as good as Karlovic. But the rest of his game is for real, strong attacking game, knows to get his big ass to net, and end points quickly with stupid droppers.

The Hair is on fiya. So refreshing to see a SEWTA player actually play cleanly.
Edit: of course she then lost 5 points in a row in a flurry of errors. Screw You SEWTA.
Edit 2: make that 8 straight points.

Shitstur. Really. She's only winning points off Jie's errors now, otherwise it's all lame overspun backhands that land outside the doubles alley. Thankfully for her Jie's freaking out while serving for the set.
Freaking biased commentators too. Their voices are literally shaking describing the disappointment of Stosur losing the set on a straightforward volley that she comically shanked well out of the court.
JaJa is getting destroyed by Koelher already, there's nothing on her strokes. I'm going to bed, sorry for Denising up the thread. ;D

Waking up into one of those moments of simuldrama is a shock to the system. I woke up about 20 minutes ago and I think set points or match points have been saved in about five separate SEWTA matches. First points I saw: Jankovic hitting BH DTLs with authority, just like in the old days. Was I still dreaming? No, she was still losing to a qualifier. Missed five SPs on Koehler's serve - three on basic-ass flop returns, one on a hilarious Koehler shot that was heading way out but clipped the net and fell in. JaJa still won the TB. Apparently Pervak choked 3 MPs against Watson. Latisha missed a SP against BAG Stosur! Served for the match twice and turned into Shanksur, lost five straight games from *5-2 up. LOVE Jie! She was dictating so well by the end. Inevitably the match ended on a DF on MP. Endless LOLs. The Baker injury, thankfully (well...not thankfully, but you know), is what Petko has, not the ACL. Those two should comfort each other. Youzhny lost to...who or what is a Donskoy?
