DF on SP. 6-1.
Nole played very well but this is pathetic from Berdych.

Apparently, Ma$ha Inc. has been signing the post-match courtside camera "Sugarpova".
Today sounded boring.

Ugh, Ma$ha.
Better in this set. Berdych coming to net a lot. Hasn't choked (yet).

Somehow didn't choke! Despite getting one first serve in out of about 10 points. Saved four BPs, three in style. One set all.

After all the excitement about Berdych actually managing to serve out the second set, what's happening now = LOL.

Almagro has such big shots. It's really impressive to watch him crush that backhand and serve. It's too bad that he just choked worse than Mauresmo ever could. He served for it at 5-4 in the third, was up a break at 2-1 in the fourth, 4-3 in the fourth, 5-4 in the fourth, 6-5 in the fourth and lost it in a tiebreak. Never did he reach matchpoint. Then in the fifth he started cramping and it was really all over. This is just in case someone did not see that abomination or has already blocked it out. Cliffie said that if he was Almagro's coach he would be throwing up, presumably in disgust. By the way, he had not been broken once until 5-4 in the third. Now 0-13 against Ferrer. Thank you! I really appreciate the round-up. It was disappointing to see this thread having only 1 page after such a epic match, now I know how the event unraveled. Really happy that Na Li and Ferrer were the winners in the end ;D Well, it kinda defied words. When was the last time, by the way, you saw an ATP set with 8 breaks of serve in 12 games? Or a guy fail to serve out a match three different times?

It has taken what? Maybe ten minutes for it to be 5-0 in this set?
Berdych looks like he is stuck in quicksand compared to Djokovic.
I guess we can safely conclude that Nole has the best roids because there seems to be no after-effects from the Waw marathon.

I don't really know why Berdych stopped coming to the net in the third set. That was how he won the second.

I was thinking that. He should have been into the net a few times in the last game of the third where he stood a very good chance of cutting off some points.
I said this before and will do so again - both Djokovic and Murray can be hurt by coming to the net. Most players aren't that comfortable there and so don't do it enough, I think. But in defense after a booming groundstroke, we often see Novak/Andy go to the slice. Come in on those balls! Tsonga has shown the way against Nadal on fast surfaces.

I think a lot of players fear the Murray/Djokovic pass that uncannily finds the spot on big points, too. Tsonga's a great volleyer who comes to net regularly yet still can't find that much success against them.

Anyway, Berdych balloons a FH over the baseline and Nole has the break. Should be all over now.

At least make Djokovic hit those crazy, off-balance passing shots. I think he may be less comfortable doing that than skidding all over the baseline chopping back would-be winners.

Just watched the last game. Sympathy for Almagro evaporated when he started walking to net before the last point was over.
