Thanks Jo for playing and for fighting! Please win a slam one day, please. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Awww!! So sad for Jo. So happy for Rog. Look at them laughing and talking! Just like Serena and Justine used to do after their matches. Come back and win one of these soon, Jo! #truelove

And no, it wasn't the best tennis of Jo's life, ES commentators. I think he played a better match vs Djokovic at RG for one.

Great match. Feel like I've seen that match too many times from Jo, but Federer was really great - hardly any Federror.
Do we think Jo can actually win a Slam? The more I see matches like this, where he plays inspired tennis but loses anyway, the more I give up on him.

No, I'm not giving up on him. He's not Gasquet! He can win one, but the stars have to be aligned to help him out.

The more I see matches like this, where he plays inspired tennis but loses anyway, the more I give up on him. Well, Murray won one. DelPo has won one. I mean Roger IS getting older. Rafa hasn't been on court since Wimbledon. If Jo gets a lucky break and his serve will be clicking, he has a chance. There can be a slam where he has to only beat 1 of the top top guys. Off course there's a big chance it won't ever happen to him, but he has a talent to do it.

ES is showing a repeat of Silliams match. This was *before the back injury* and it's already not easy for Serena. Sloane is moving her around and Serena is making errors.
Off course Serena said these were the worst 2 weeks of her life, so she probably already had a million injuries at this point. Although they didn't stop her from crushing everyone else.

I'm sure we'll get replays, too, but I don't want to watch. Would love to see Serena smash her racquet, though! She said afterward that that made her happy. I like that.

Good to know that her pulmonary embolism and her sister's death weren't so bad afterall! Classic Serena...

Ha! Thanks, Lady. So silly that they then show it in slo-mo. Maybe I wouldn't have liked Serena at that moment if I had been watching the match, but it's fun in retrospect. Although she claims (sometimes) to love tennis, I think she more just loves winning.

Remember that Serena smashed her racket like that after the first set of the 2009 USO semifinal. I bet nobody dared call a foot fault after that!
