Happy for her, but Savinykh has been just terrible since AO.

Poor Lalami, the toast of MAR two years ago when she beat Caravane to reach the QF; this year, not even good enough for a MDWC.
MJK and Puig are both just refusing to take that final step into the top 100, aren't they.

Cornet is collapsing. Knapp destroyed her in the first set, then Cornet won 3 games in a row to start the second and now we're at 3-3.

At least Tsveti won her first match since Hobart. And she beat a Pliskova in the process Putintseva into R2 as well over Johansson Mladenovic next, and Yulia leads that H2H...

Your QFs:
Lourdes DOMINGUEZ LINO (ESP) vs. (5) Kiki BERTENS (NED) Mandy MINELLA (LUX) vs. Silvia SOLER ESPINOSA (ESP) (6) Francesca SCHIAVONE (ITA) vs. (3) Alize CORNET (FRA) (7) Kristina MLADENOVIC (FRA) vs. Chanelle SCHEEPERS (RSA)
LiDL, Minella and Jeepers. SEWTA.
It's been said of many players lately, but I genuinely have no idea how Cornet is somehow back in Slam seeding territory.

I'm in favor of LDL winning it all. She should wipe the floor with Minella at least.

Schiavone is in the final, hopefully she makes the lunacy of this tournament worthwhile by taking home the trophy.

I mean that at least makes sense. Minella in a final is End of Days-style.

Fran The only acceptable outcome from the SF on, though it's certainly a relief that Minella didn't make the final.
