First SLO to reach Wimby r3!
I can see why Care Bear has been successful on this surface; she gets down so low on her groundies.
But Kaia has bounced back from her sad TB start!

Alize Cornet is killing Pennetta. Cornet was my 2nd chance bet to make the finals. I'm feeling quite confident, lol.

Ali, no, I don't think AK had MPs. But I could be wrong.
Can't believe the way Care Bear lost it mentally after losing that tb. It's like she can't handle being in a 3rd set she feels like should never have happened. How has she ever done well with such a bad attitude?

The second set of Kanepi/Kerber was very good until Kaia suddenly went very bad and then very good in the TB, then SarcastiKerber kicked in for the final set, but not in the good way. Kaia gagged hard at 5-1 but crawled over the line at 5-3.
Impressed by Bautista pushing Ferrer - a net-rushing, flat-hitting ESP! - but he screwed up the TB somewhat.
Melzer/Stakhovsky is a surprise excellent match.

The Cornet/Pennetta match, my god. Cornet went up 6-0, 1-0. Then Flavia won five games in a row, then Alizé won five games in a row, then shanked a FH which would have given her MP, then went 3-0 up in the TB then lost seven of eight points. Third set!

The reason I picked Pennetta into the QF is because of...exactly what transpired. Cornet is as crazy as MLDB (who is going to lose as well) and Pennetta has been much more clutch in her career. I expect something similar to happen against Flipkens.

ivo karlovic @ivokarlovic 24 Jun I swear these commentators dont know anyone outside of top 10. Every point Darcis won they were like 'Wow,Omg..' or 'Yeah, its Nadals knees'
ivo karlovic @ivokarlovic 26 Jun De Brito totally deserved this win against Sharapova. She screamed louder at her shots.
And they're showing these on ESPN3. <3 Ivo. Miss you.
