Nole should've been on CC and Anduh on Court 1.
Whimsical?

Oh, I think this is a perfect place to ask, I remember looking up the word "wicked" in the dictionary and the definition basically said that this word can mean both things: "something great" and "something bad". Is it true? And if it is, then how to differentiate?

"Wicked" meaning "great" is very recent slang, probably within the last 25 years. Newer than "cool." Kind of the same deal.

Yes. Its slang meaning is positive (see also "sick", "bad" (though I guess no one's said the latter since the '80s)).
When it's used negatively it's usually quite serious so you should be able to tell from context. I guess the exception might be the sports commentator sense, actually! "That was a wicked slice" - it's both positive (ie "that was a great slice") and references the negative meaning ("that was a cruel slice [for the opponent]"). English is fun/weird.

And, like "sick" and "bad," it's probably past its expiration date as well. I think of "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" when I think of someone saying "wickeeeeeeeeeed!!!111" in a "cool" sense. Like "totally radical."

Thank you for the explanations! We have similar stuff in Russian, especially with slang as well.

I still hear "sick" quite a lot. "Wicked" is definitely outdated, though.

A "Ne dites pas à maman que la gardienne mange des pissenlits par la racine" reference. They still use Wicked in Winnipeg. Well, my coworker from there does.

And I guess it's still used frequently in Boston, unless "Saturday Night Live" has been steering me wrong of late.

Ridiculous. :-P
I see Kontaveit lost to Bencic. chingching must be in mourning -- or maybe excuse-making mode?
Edit: "ridiculous" comment refers to Ferrer's haplessness against the lame one, not to Nole's high-quality match!

I'm watching Delpo on TV, Nole on stream. Nole/Berdych is pretty good but not very dramatic/not much to say.
