No. Famed defending finalist Julia Cohen.

Candle Head, Garcia and Petko have dropped out, so Cohen has moved up to #1 on the Q list. She'll probably end up with DE into MD.

Yeah I like it! And really we should have a #1 vs. #2 final which could be good.

Excellent first WTA win for Jabeur, 6-4 6-0 over Gavrilova.
Cohen's ranking finally dies - Magda Linette sends her out of the top 200.
It's the WTA debuts of Kremen, Kalashnikova (several years after she looked like a prospect befpre getting injured - she seems to be a double sspecialist these days), Kapshay (at the age of 26) and Jafarova...

I just saw that surprise score! What fun for Ons. I hope she'll be better than Sfar.

Jabeur retired while leading Linette 6-3, 4-1 An ankle injury apparently. Vekic lost to Svitolina

I came to this thread to bitch about Vekic losing - and from the scoreline it doesn't seem like she was ever really in it.

So the WTA site calls this Svitolina's first title, as it should. Does this mean they've abandoned the pretence of calling the 125Ks "WTA titles"?
Got off the Svitolina bandwagon a while ago, I don't think she's great, but still good for her to get it over Peer.
