Oh, Stan. Doesn't like playing at home, I take it?

The prospect of taking over Fed as Swiss number 1 unnerved him!

I don't actually know if that was possible this week.

I also don't know if that hasn't already happened before.
Mostly, I'm just saying things.

Remember when we used to really, deeply know all those answers, though? About every tiny aspect of pro tennis players, rankings, and tournaments? I think there are still a few people on this board that are still on top of the mens' ranking situation, but I'm as hazy as you are about the Stan-Rog matter.

Getting a real job and then being unemployed and busy with TV really put a hamper on my obsessive pro tennis fact finding missions.

OMG/LOL at the Federer missed smash to go down 0-1, 0-40 in the third set. Yes, he's in a third set against Istomin...

Istomin failed to take advantage of those BPs despite another two hilarious Fed errors, immediately broken.

Still, things we have to look forward to: either Fed having to go to London as the alternate...or Fed getting into the WTF, and playing the traditional Dementieva role of going 0-3.

Sorry, and I know this is hardly original, but I can't help it: I can't get used to anything serious being called the WTF.
I noticed on the SB that Fed was in trouble against Istomin and I cringed. So glad he scraped out a win. The degree of his decline is too pathetic already.

Thankfully, so far real Fed can still beat baby Fed. FOR NOW.
