I think she is tired of losing anymore slam finals, i think she is going to win two slams at least next year, maybe at wimby and Us Open again. unfortunately she seems to be unwilling to play any AO warm ups, which, i predict, will in return cause her bad results in the grand slam.

I agree that she will win at least on slam next year. I was surprised that she didn't manage one this year, even given Serena's form.
Anyhow, if I had to pick right now, I would pick Venus to win Wimbledon.
Maybe she can get ROland Garros this year too, and exact some revenge?

venus is SUCH a goddess. she just has so much presence on the tennis court. and she doesn't need the flash-n-trash of serena to get attention.
i hope she wins a slam in 2003 also. but i also want hingis to win. and cappy to win 2. ;D (she is my MOST fav, after all)
so how about: oz open-venus french-hingis wimby and US--cappy.
if that happens i'll be so happy i foam at the mouth, twitching.

I will hold off hope until she actually wins something significant (grand slam; beat Serena). I call it my laid back approach.

Venus still hasn't won anything bigger than a Tier II since USO '01. Come on Vee, you're way better than that!
