For Carly Gullickson, my replacement for Marissa P. Irvin at the top of the "talented but doomed to suckage" players list. Go Carly, go!

I saw her once and thought that she stunk. Granted, this was three years ago.
I should ban you for the title of this thread, but I won't.

For Carly Gullickson, my replacement for Marissa P. Irvin at the top of the "talented but doomed to suckage" players list. Go Carly, go! Carlita isn't nearly as talented as Marishka was. Marissa could run. And had a much better serve and forehand. Their both about equal in work ethic, and fighting attitudes. Which is about nil.

Carly's forehand made me cry when I first saw her, but I didn't see a real problem with her serve.
Marissa worked out with the Miami Dolphins.

Marissa had one of the best serves on tour. Maybe if she worked out with Flutie and the Chargers, she would have been more successful. And sexy. At 26.
Oh, and viva Carlita. She'd also be one of my favorites, but hopes are very low.

Marissa's serve was one of the top serves right through 2004, but in 2005 I noticed that the speed on it had dropped alot, and she wasn't placing it too well.
Carly is still very, very young. She has time.

She turns 20 in a few months. She's not that young anymore. Especially for where she is in the scrub ranks... she may have to move on from tennis if she doesn't improve.

Not everyone can be like Maria Sharapova. At 19.

Do you want me to post her challenger doings here, or are you already keeping track of her results? She plays quite a lot, and her results have been improving lately (finally)!

Yes, she has been improving.
And she's gradually looking better.
Keep it up.

You're just jealous that you're getting wider, and she's getting smaller.
