I am carefully ridding myself of all emotional investment I have in the Venus/Ana match. Though actually, I'm far less inclined to write off Ana's chances than I was to write off Jelena's yesterday. She hasn't taken a set off Venus ever, right, but she hadn't taken a set off Justine until last week either. She has to start doing it sometime, right?
ANYWAY I don't care. Aga beating Hanturexia is much, much more important.
As for the men's - Fed, just triple bagel him.

Ivanovic has literally no chance. Radwanska is the only person who can make sure the final is Penis-free.

Ivanovic has literally no chance. Radwanska is the only person who can make sure the final is Penis-free. She has a shot if she plays game by game instead of point by point. I.e. take advantage of some shoddy play and DFs by Venus to break her once or twice, and then focus on holding serve. Point by point Venus can play rallies at a much faster pace - Ivanovic just won't be able to keep up, and she's almost (almost - I've seen her hit huge CC FH winners while nearly falling back on her ass) harmless when she isn't hitting with both feet firmly set down. Radwanska will get whipped by whoever wins Penis vs Ivanovic. She's breakfast for an aggressive returner.

I forgot Aggie's still in! match could be fun to watch, but if it's an error-fest, I'll have to turn it off.

I didn't realize that Serena and Venus lost in doubles.

If there are any live streaming sites which work on a Mac this time, I'll stay up for A-Rad and Hant. I'm interviewing Mary J Blige tomorrow so no work, hurrah.

Daniela Hantuchova deserves her success and her spot in this years Australian Open semifinals. I didn't expect it but it's nice to see her do well because she works so hard and plays so much tennis year in and year out. I must admit I am surprised that she routined Radwanska 2 and 2. Dani must have been in great form today.

Ivanovic got off to a 2-0 lead and then played a terrible service game to get broken. Venus serves at 1-2 and with her left thigh heavily taped. Venus might not be able to run as well as usual but she will be going for her shots and will try to out hit Ana instead of smothering her like she usually does.

Ana, keeping punishing that weak-ass Vee serve.

5-5. Ana can't get a ball past Vee at the net. Those lobs aren't working.
She's going to lose this set. Depressing, because she had all chances.
