Oh Burley, Pablo even has a better smile! And his name is Pablo! He is a serious upgrade from Lleyton.

I dunno, Sandal Boy has better shoulders and neck, and I may have to give him the edge in the smile department as well! They both have awesome legs though, but in completely different ways. Sandal Boy seems burlier up top though, so I fear that he, instead of Pablo, will have to be my boyfriend! I'm sure he is crestfallen, but it will build character.

I'm pro-Sandal Boy! Do we know him!? If you read my posts you could have deduced that he is Spencer Vegosen, losing finalist at the Copa Yucatan (and fatigued 1R loser at Eddie Herr).

speechless at such beauty, but in the words of Eliza Doolitle's Dad, "She sure cleans up nice" In the first she looks like she has just climbed out of Briny's bed

To me, the most impressive scores have come from: Tamaryn Hendler (G 12u, a Bollettieri Belgian, who was the Herr quarterfinalist in this division at age 10 2 years ago! Bernard Tomic (B 12u), the Aussie prodigy who was a semifinalist last year at 11yo Jessica Moore (G 14u), another Aussie who has lost only 1 game in 2 matches - she won an 18u event in Sri Lanka this year Ricardas Berankis (B 14u top seed), because he's a Lithuanian The players in the other draws, I have yet to form an opinion.

I always thought it was an awkward name, some sort of wacky New Zealandish penance to God, but it turns out that, less excitingly, it's actually G.D. Jones and Slam sites and whatnot can't handle...periods?
Post by Brinyi on Dec 2, 2004 13:16:58 GMT -5
I have never seen his name with periods, ever, anywhere...
Post by DBBN on Dec 2, 2004 13:19:29 GMT -5
Well, granted it does not have periods, but his juniortennis profile and ranking has him listed as "GD" Jones.
So I suppose that, without the periods, the Slam sites can't handle one "word" with more than one capital letter.

According to Navarrete, Chardy "has one of the hardest serves in juniors." Navarrete is a lefty and is 6'5". Kellen Damico is coached by John Roddick. Maria Mokh's mom used to coach Zvonareva. Bernard Tomic is an Aussie of Croatian parents.
