A long-term career as a dilettante is not easy to pull off. But it's lots of fun trying! Or...little bits of multiple...funs.

Brilliant start by Inglund. One lucky goal so they take off a striker and defend for 85 minutes. We're gonna win.

Aren't the the reigning Euro champs? Anyway, I don't think they have good young players to support geezers like Larsson. Sweden will die die die! Trust me *cough* ;D

The first 45 minutes were great 10/10, after xtra time 20 minutes of Argentina playing like italians, riquelme, crespo and saviola replaced, and ivory coast scores, last 20 minutes great with ivory coast trying to get a tie and argentina defending like crazy.
8.5/10 imo
tomorrow all matches should be good, netherlands vs serbs, mexico vs iranians, angola sucks ass, but portugal is fun, and it is a colony vs colonial master match up

Yay Soca Warriors! Thanks for the report, I missed the match but I think I'll watch it on VOD after reading that.

I think I hate Pele, I see him and want to punch him in the face, he is an annoying senile man who makes crappy comments and predictions.

With Serbia losing 6-0 today, the US really has to step it now to finish last. C'mon Italia!

The second goal one of the argentina serbia match has been called by many sports journalists around the world, one of the best 10 world cup goals ever, if you could not see it, dont worry, probably it will be repeated many many times during the next 25 years. or you could use you tube "3-0 at halftime and the Serbs were simply slaughtered in Schalke. Maxi Rodriguez gave the Argies an early lead, and scored their 3rd goal with a shot which pinballed off the postl and a Serbian defender on the goalline, but the goal of the match, and without doubt of the tournament, was coolly finished off by Cambiasso from a Crespo backheel in the penalty area from a buildup play in which 24 passes were sprayed..." "it was insane how many passes and quality touches were in the build up. Insane!" "Argentina. The Cambiasso Goal. 25 five touches. Count them, 25 for GOAL. Collective Brilliance. "31 mins: Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Ping. Back-heel from Crespo. Cambiasso ... goal!" www.youtube.com/watch?v=v65M7ea-6iw&search=argentina%20goal%20serbiawww.youtube.com/watch?v=v65M7ea-6iw&search=argentina%20goal%20serbiaonly this one shows the complete play, but quality not as good www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoL8Lr9LVM4&search=argentina%20goal%20serbia

It was fantastic. Our announcer said it was the best WC finals goal ever. "Anyone who loves football loves that goal."

The Tevez and Massi goals weren't bad either. And to think they didn't start, and neither did Cambiasso! Bery scary.
There were lots of nice goals yesterday. The Kone goal for CIV was cool.

Portugal 2-0 -- second goal on a penalty. Scolari is doing a good job teaching the game to the colonial masters.

Oh dear, awful performance by the Czechs.
It's hard to warm up to us Eastern Europeans, because you're all JEALOUS of us. We're the most attractive, the strongest, and the most lethal. Bow.
Forza Italia! 7-0, plz.
