Is it raining there? We've got a shower here

Oh, oops, yeah, looks like harder rain there, probably heading my way. Raining on the cake at the block party!
--- Okay, that was fun, saw the harder rain on the tv, 2 minutes later it was here, pouring down on the dispersing block party
Meanwhile I seem to have lost interest in the outcome here!

It's getting crazy. The rain made it even more so. You should watch!

Yeah, I'm watching now that the rain ended the block party. The sun's out on the tv and and here. I think Justin Rose will win, and I guess that would be okay. POOR JASON DAY with that putt!!

No he won't, he's missing the same putts he missed the last 2 days.
Rose has such a pinched little face, hard to warm up to him. He's like the anti-Lee Trevino.

I feel the same way about Rose. But he'll do for today.

Awww! Rose is crying! I have to root for him now. And now we learn that he's "one of the most likeable golfers in the world". Go him, then.

God, such great graphics these days, showing the slopes on these greens that aren't easy to grasp on tv.
Phil the Tragic Hero of the US Open, perennial runner-up! But I don't feel bad for him. More exciting for pinch-face to finally win a Major.

Now I'm just scared for Phil to fall out of 2nd place into, like, 10th ...

Daddy lost! Daddy lost! He'll still sign autographs all night, though. That's why golf fans like him.

Congrats to the first-time major winner! Poor Phil. I remember years ago -- at the British Open? -- when it seemed like Rose was going to be the Next Big Thing. It's taken a while.

He seems a lot less pinched off the golf course, so that's nice. Anyway, first Adam, now him...big names hyped up since early results, finally delivering. Shutting up the naysayers. Good for golf this year. I hope Luke is next but I think he's going to end up on the scrap heap with Sergio.

Yes, he's a different guy with the cap off, and relaxed. What a good speech, too. I hope your Luke will be next, too. It's fantastic to have these guys clear that big hurdle. Really good ending to a very fun tournament. Nice Phil still willing to do tv interview after losing!

Hey, Phil, how do you feel coming in 2nd at the USO for the 6th time? "Heartbreak ... tough to swallow ... this was my best chance yet ... it hurts." I like that he doesn't just spit out platitudes.
But lets get back to showing Roses' round, not Phil's, guys! Sheesh, he LOST, remember! Like the WTA w/ Ma$ha.

I'd like to see Luke win too, but his lack of length catches up with him eventually at USO and The Hallowed Course.
Rose winning is fine. And I have to say that NBC was better with Phil today than they usually are. Sure, they openly pulled for him and mentioned his "bad luck" numerous times, but I didn't tell Johnny and Costas and that other guy to shut up too much today.
