J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets! ;D The New York Jets beat the San Diego Chargers 17-17 in the AFC playoffs in what is the biggest upset in the 2010 NFL playoffs. The Jets win ugly but it doesn't really matter. The Jets play the Indianapolis Colts for the AFC Championship and a trip to the Super Bowl next Sunday. The Colts will be big favorites in the game.

Awesome game! But it will be very tough against Peyton.

Awesome game! But it will be very tough against Peyton. No doubt a huge task to ask the inoffensive Jets to beat the Colts in Indianapolis in the AFC championship game. But if the Jets win the turnover battle they should be in the game and perhaps have a chance to steal it. Field goal kickers are 0-5 against the Jets this year in the playioffs in one of the most bizarr football statistics I have ever seen. The Colts are a very sound football team and I don't think the Jets can count on them to make mistakes the way Cincinatti and San Diego did against the Jets. My prediction is Colts 20-10 in a competitive game.

My prediction for Super Bowl 44 is the Saints over the Colts 27-20. The Colts have some key injuries heading into the game and I think that will play an outcome in the Saints upsetting the Colts. And all purpose performer Reggie Bush needs to have a good game for New Orleans.

I am rooting for the Saints, but I don't think it's going to happen.
I was supposed to go to my friend's to watch, but I KNOW that's not going to happen, since my car is surrounded and I don't have a shovel.

I have to go to a Super Bowl get together, and I don't want to. I hate watching the game with the commercials every minute and stupid long halftime with some old people performing, and I can't get drunk on a Sunday night.

I forgot all about the Super Bowl, what with Snowmageddon and all. I could care less about the game, but I hope people in Hurley's and my region can get to and from their tv-watching parties safely. But for me, the outstanding livestreamed Bovina-Oprandi final was enough sports for the day!

Another classic Peyton boner!! He's lucky he was able to wrap up the one championship he got, otherwise he'd have ended up just like Marino.

I couldn't avoid it. I HATED that game. The NFL has gone too far with allowing pitch and catch.

I was going to work on trying to find a Superbowl party this year, but then I remembered that I don't care.

I was going to work on trying to find a Superbowl party this year, but then I remembered that I don't care. Are Superbowl parties big in Canadia? I thought Canadians hated everything USian.

No, that's just what they tell you between bites of their McDonald's french fries. Superbowl parties are an excuse to drink beer, so yes, they're a thing here. Not as big of a thing, I don't think, but still a thing. Mostly just the uber-jock types I've known over the years have thrown them, though.

Oh, and marketing nerds. I forgot about them. They also have Superbowl parties.

Oh, okay. Yeah, it sounds like it's not as huge a thing as it is here. It's one of the 2-3 biggest party days of the year here. I don't really get it, but I can't say I try to get it, either.

It's not as huge as the US (but Canada could never do anything as huge as the US in any field) but it's a pretty big deal.
Toronto's lovely progressive mayor also wants to bring an NFL team here.

"Hernandez is one of 28 NFL players arrested since this year's Super Bowl on Feb. 3, according to a database kept by U-T San Diego." Nice bunch of guys.
