But I amwandering over to 9 to see how little Ayumi is doing. So far so good, 5-2 over Errant. What a funny name for a tennis player! Oh, it's Errani, the ball kids have corrected the scoreboard.

Kops-Jones won Paszek-Hsieh should be really interesting; Bacsinszky-Erakovic also looks intriguing.

Both top seeds are out, since hapless K-Bond is joined by the Silver Fox. He lost to the British Muster.

Kops-Jones won Paszek-Hsieh should be really interesting; Bacsinszky-Erakovic also looks intriguing. RKJ lost today but to the hopefully resurgent Voracova. I was so wrong about Paszek's 6-0 6-2 drubbing of Hsieh! But Timea did win a barnburner against the Kiwi, 3-6 7-5 6-4.

The problem with the Qualie Tank now is that, in Slams, they pull a random draw from the four highest-ranked losers, they don't just go down the list. The rule was created to kill the Qualie Tank.
The first victim was #1 seed Romina Oprandi at Roland Garros -- she lost final round to Vakulenko and did not get in (Flipkens did instead).
