First set to Serena.
Look, Jelena just needs to keep her out there. Serena is out of shape. If Jelena can hang on and squeeze out the 2nd set, I like her chances in a third.

Hingis may well lose to Na Li LOL. Put down Ali's crack pipe. Na Li is exactly the type of player Hingis double bagels.

Holy fuck! Huge upsets. There is going to be a wacky finalist in the bottom half for sure. Looking at the top section, that has the potential for craziness too. Hingis may well lose to Na Li and Kim, Maria and Patty face danger matches too. Dani isn't a danger match for Kim. At all. But I agree with everything else. Serena will win. Ugh.

Liz Smylie is being a cunt today.
JJ has saved 5 bps already. Silliams taking deep breaths after rallies now.

Big hold for JJ to open the set. Staved off a number of BP's.

Jankovic had an easy volley at 30-40 but pushed it wide. Argh!

Serena should've held easily but made a couple of silly mistakes. That's when you expected JJ to break, but Serena closed it out with an ace and a volley. But Serena's getting edgy.

You know...Serena played at least one of her previous matches inside. Maybe two, maybe three, maybe all of them. I want this fat bitch in the sunshine. Because, seriously, her green ass is on TV right now, and...bitch is FAT.
She'll wilt in the sun. I think Vaidisova would take her. Maybe Peer could even run her around and get her to die. But the constant roof closing has helped the bitch.

From 40-15 to BP...fuck fuck fuck.

And that's the break. It was just a matter of time. Serena's 1/8 on BP conversions in this set.

Hingis may well lose to Na Li LOL. Put down Ali's crack pipe. Na Li is exactly the type of player Hingis double bagels. Well, I haven't actually seen her play so ...

Good Lord, Serena can't even stand still without heaving.
How is this happening? Come on, Jelena, if it was any other fat player -- say, Mariaan de Swardt -- this would be over.

I don't think the shower will help. I think we'll all feel pretty dirty about this for some time to come. 6-3 6-2. PATHETIC, JELENA! Next up, Shahar.

I cannot think of a better word than "pathetic," yes.
Actually I can.
This whole thing is just inordinately DISAPPOINTING. And even slightly shameful.
