Hi Choupi!
Unfortunately, it's not going to happen. After JHH won, Eurosport moved to cycling, which I don't blame them for (I blame them for their choice of tennis matches to watch), but the match will probably be over before Giro ends. I just hope Ferrero can win today. I was a little upset when he failed to serve for the first set. Did you see what happened?

Ouch, so Safin broke back? I see this is shaping up to be a very frustrating match.

Italian women who went to atp rome think Carlos Moya, Haas, Safin, Nalbandian and Joachim Johansson are the sexiest players.

2nd set for Safin 7/5. Same scenario as in the 1st set. Ferrero leads up to the middle of the set, then, Marat comes back. The fight between those 2 is a pleasure to watch. I just hope that they're gonna offer us more than 3 sets! ;D
Layla, in the 1st set, when JC had to serve for the win of the set, Marat incredibly increased the level of his game. And managed to break back. It's like some cycle with him today.

Juan Carlos, leading a break in both sets. I didn't see the 2nd set but Safin started to play better at the end of the 1st. Juan Carlos broke because Marat made a lot of errors and was broken back because Marat could keep up with him in the long rallies better and didn't hit as many ue's anymore. No frustration there, but it's a good thing I didn't see that 2nd set.

Going back to my tv, Juan Carlos leading with a break again. I have a hard time seeing him come back from two sets down

3rd set for Ferrero 6/1! I'm expecting a very interesting 4th set. Haas hasn't won any single game in the 2nd and 3rd sets...

Woohoo, the match is on Eurosport now. Er, Ferrero looks weird with a headband, like he stepped out of a different era. Curious.

Juan Carlos, but what a great match. Marat was slightly better today, he served better which was a key issue in the tiebreaks. I hope he reaches the quarters and can give Coria a good match.

Marat defeated JC 7/6 7/5 1/6 7/6. I have to admit I wasn't giving him as the winner before the match began. But he really has been impressive, always came back when broken, except in the 3rd set. He seemed tired and suffering from the heat at that time. Anyway, it's been a true pleasure to watch that match. Now, I'm looking forward to Mathieu vs Canas. But I first have to bear Mauresmo!

Well, too bad for JC. But Safin deserved to win, from what I've seen (which admittedly wasn't much). Vamos Canas!

Layla!!!! So nice to see you again!! Damn, what a horrible day for me! Everybody lost. Why did Volandri retire? Anna-Lena went down (which I expected). Then Ferrero , and then my doubles teams! Damn! I'm not going to watch the coverage and am very glad I slept through most of the day. For my sanity

Famous? Not in my universe. He seems to have crazy fans on almost every tennis mess board I visit Really? Interesting. Is it the hair and the headband? Well, I'm not one of them. I don't mind him, but when I look at him play (or just plain look at him), I don't see anything special. Different strokes.

Melzer has a few Aussie fans, to put it lightly They are his cheerleaders at MTF, apparently. That's very early on in the match. Let me know if you find out what happened to him, please. Here's what was posted in my yahoo group: From what I heard he had various injuries on his ankle and overall feet problems. He was concidering a walkover before the match even started.
