Loit lost? She was up 2-0 today and lost the set 3-6. Congrats to Gagliardi though. She wasn't up to 2-0. It was 1-3 when I went to bed.

So ... Amelie loses, Loit loses ... Lindsay will no doubt lose tomorrow.
I love the French Open. My only joy now will be cheering for Belgian defeats. I say Kuznetsova rids us of Henin-Hardenne.

I think Kuz will win; I think these hot dry conditions really favor her -- but at you for hoping so. Allez Justine!

Hmm I thought Ivanovic was a Bollitterrrrrri baseline bashing robot .... That's blasphemous! She's my favourite of all the youngsters. She's both a powerful and a surprisingly complete player for her age. Her power reminds me somewhat of Lindsay - the same clean hitting, extremely clean. And she also is a thinker [sometimes she really reminds me of Myskina the way she constructs points]. She can mix her game pretty well, has very soft hands and nice volleys which is extremely rare among current flock of up-and-commers. And finally, she has a great on-court behaviour, very calm. I really adore her. Now she plays Fran. If she wins, then plays one of the two headcases and brainless bashers: Petrova or Bovina. What a great chance! Anyways, pretty good day today overall. Marat's win was very surprising. I was so sure he was going down in straights, he looked completely disinterested in his previous match + the knee. Nice surprise to come to. Now Vamos Willy! Send French Hewitt home packing Why did you only quote half my statement? It's not like it was very long. Are you a tabloid journalist or something?

Ivanovic lives and trains in Belgrade. Had offers to train in Fla., but wisely never went, and thus learned how to VOLLEY. I learned all this today. And I don't know why I thought Loit was up 2-0 -- may have mixed her up w/ Dechy?

3029? Wow. Ya gotta wonder how many straight matches the #1 player has won, if the #12 player has done this well!
