Well Ivo Heuberger made it to the Wimby MD. Not after having had to fight much harder than many might have thought he has too. He beat Andy Ram 7:5 2:6 6:3 7:6(5) Well let's keep the fingers crossed he doesn't have to play Marc..... ....but I'm pretty sure he will

They heard me he isn't facing Marc in the first round. But will have to deal with Hewitt in the second.... ...O.K. he could have drawn him in the first Good luck Ivo, Marc and Michel!!

Well Michel lost in 4....
...but he had all the chances first he was 3:0 up and and then he served for the set at 5:4. Gee I really wonder why he has such difficulties to serve sets home...
...now let's hope Ivo can turn his match around!! With Hewie out his draw has opened up!! Allleeezzz Ivo H fight fight fight!!

Ivo also lost Not a good day for the Swissies. Michel's serve gives him fits. He double faulted his way into complete oblivion today, and it's saddening to think about

Comments after today's match: Kratochvil: “I won because of the fighting and the crowd support. I am happy with the first set, I had chances in the second, but he played well. I tried to play solid, it wasn’t easy, it was my first match in a while. A win is always a win, especially after not playing a lot, but the crowd was there for me. I hope it will be better and better in the week.”

But this Brazilian guy with the Guga grunt was strong. And krati's returns on this guy's serve were a bit short. That was the difference with Rogi's match whose opponet was tenacious, so Rogi took risks and came to the net, or served & volleyed. Good luck to Krati tomorrow!

As I said somewhere else, a win is huge now. A sad state of affairs, yes, but we clutch at whatever straws we can Stepanek is going to be much tougher.

Talk about a young one to watch, how about this Stanislas Wawrinka? He qualified for Amersfoot this week and will open against Hugo Armando. Good luck to him, he should win that easily!

Wawrinka won the juniors title at RG so it's really interesting to find out where this boy's heading to... Good luck!

I knew he won one of the junior Slam titles, but couldn't remember which. He has a pretty nice looking draw to win a few rounds.

Poor Michel but this is a good sign. Maybe he's back to full strength, finally?! I mean, final set tiebreak? That's HUGE! Especially against Younes, who is no slouch on clay. I'm proud of him Hopefully this is the beginning of the road back.
