Donald Young is Jr. Wimbledon champion! Congrats to DY for swallowing his pride & going back to the Juniors. But you need to KEEP GROWING, Ti-Donny!

Molik/Bjorkman will face Jankovic/Murray for the mixed final. That should be a lot of fun.

I saw the first set of the girls, and I'm guessing Brengle likes cake almost as much as Marion. I wonder if she got tired in the second, or Ursula stopped missing?

For the first time in a Slam, Federer v Nadal is actually living up to the hype. This match is stupidly good so far. And I've no idea who will win.

Nadal hit a winner from a sitting position!

It's stupid that I haven't picked a side in this rivalry yet. But they're both so fucking good to watch. Am supporting Nadal here, because I support Federer at RG.

I'm supporting Rafa because Fed's gotten too -- I don't know, too SOMETHING. And I'm tired of all the tv Rog-worship, which is almost on the level of Tiger-worship we have to endure here in the States. And if Rafa could somehow beat Fed on the sacred GRASS? That would crank up this rivalry to an unbelievable level.

Fed throwing a hissy fit about a Hawkeye overrule! Gets broken, still whining about it at the changeover!

Ha, Rog wants Hawkeye turned off because he disagreed with its verdict. Rattled Rog! Not sth you see every day. Fun!

Fed throwing a hissy fit about a Hawkeye overrule! Gets broken, still whining about it at the changeover! Did he really think they'd turn off Hawkeye because he wants them to?

I hope this injury doesn't stunt Rafa's momentum.

It's probably not that bad. He was probably just told to take 'er easy for a few games until the magic drugs that the trainer slipped him when we weren't looking kick in.

As a side note, I decided to not get up until two or three hours into the match when i fell asleep last night, thinking that this would save me watching it if it blew.
Now, watch the final set go 6-0 for Roger or something stupid, as punishment for my waking up.

Word to both of your posts. I totally yelled "Vamos Roid Rafa" earlier in the set. And then when I woke up at 2-2 in the third only to see it go to Fed, I cursed Satan, my dark lord. :satan: First time Fed has gone five sets in his five-year run? Is that a real stat, or is that like how "Venus has never lost to anyone other than Serena on Centre Court!!!!!!!!!!111" (Sprem 2R 2004)

I"m not going to look it up, but I think that is a real stat. I thought they said only in the final, but it's probably true overall. Roger is a robot.
