Yes, "I swear to God" and "You are really looking stupid on TV right now" were not the most effective arguments I've heard.

Heh. I love it when the girl in mixed doubles aces the guy. Bjorkman looked rather pissed off there.

Question of the day: is Pavlyuchenkova already past her prime?

Roger walks up for the Bud Collins interview in his long pants. And why would he not talk to Bud when he lost at RG? Now how will they fill the last 20 minutes. I intend to stay right here on my couch and find out!

Team Jonas. Well, at least the first Murray to win a Slam is not Andy.

I'm glad Rafel Nadal lost. Same. Watched the first two sets and then gave up and began FFWDing watching only the end of each set. Can't stand Nudd-Ahl, no matter the occasion, the opponent, or the quality of the match. This must have hurt - played his very best and still it wasn't enough. Big missed opportunity; next year others will be ready to challenge him. Fed will probably wear a top hat, a sword and a sash next year. But his ludicrous costume does remind me of something that I was thinking about: I believe Slam trophy ceremonies could use some more pageantry, since they can't go for the raucous party atmosphere of the big football finals. And Wimbledon in particular could look into it, since the tournament is now little more than the tennis equivalent of a tacky theme park.

Oh, Jonas! I am devastated. Though NBC did treat us to a little clip of his *MANLY* tirade against an umpire, as a consolation prize.

Outside of clay, he's beatable. He won't always play like he did today.
