Donnster!!! ;D
he returned very well and passed well, a year ago he would have given up after losing the first set. The problem is when he misses it's usually by about 5 feet over the baseline

Goerges started playing really well, and Justine has not raised her level. So of course USA switched to Baggydatis. USA said that if JH wins just this one match, she stays #1 after the US Open.

Sara Errani's winning! Maybe there's more to Sara than met Corswandt's eye. Or maybe Voracova really, really sux. I wish ES had showed more of Henin's match. Görges is interesting, possibly even a good player in the making. Sure, she was crap whenever she wasn't dictating play, but she seems to have a magnificent serve, a big FH, and rushed the net on occasion (success rate 0%, but it nonetheless looked as if she knew what she was doing there). Looks like a pure fast surface player, which is unusual among the current crop of 17-20 y.o. Euro hopefuls.

I just knew Justine would do a 7-5 or 7-6 set after mentioning she improved her early round play.
Goerges is pretty cute. And at least she's a better basher than Gajdosova.

From what I've seen (3 points or so ), Goerges does have a big FH. Gajdosova could be a decent player if she got in shape and actually had a brain. She has a good serve, big groundies and is quite capable at the net, but her game makes Ivanovic and Vaidisova look like Hingis.

She's just very inconsistent right now, maybe just not ready for The Big Show yet. Even if Görges doesn't have the all court potential that I (fancifully) see in her, she's got the guns, and that will make up for a lot of shortcomings. I'll watch out for her in the future. ES showed mostly Myrnyi yet again exposing what a crap BH Baghdatis has. In the first few days of the Slams, TV coverage consists mostly of the "tight but for the most poorly played match with lots of sets between mid-ranked ATP players". One more reason to dislike best of five.

This Jenkins match is kinda sad. Watching kids who really want to do well, but just don't have the game to improve and survive on tour. He's no different from that rather lucky performance he had vs. Nadal.
Mopey Murray winning easily. Grrr... Although, I'd love to see Kolya send him packing for the 2nd straight year.

They keep switching between Roger and Small Andy in my coverage. My friend who was over earlier noted that she could see Federer's nipples. Random, but she's not a fan or anything. She was just making an observation. Or something.
Excitement about the ceremony tonight? I'm waking up at 4am to watch it followed by both sisters.

I don't know whether to be ecstatic that Bepa is apparently sufficiently recovered to bagel Alina twice, or whether to go at giving up a 6-0 3-0 lead. I have no TV coverage so am assuming this entire Slam is mythical, anyway. Ice Cream beat Stosur 3 and 2
