The full schedule is up now... and still no Venus/Jelena.
I assume they're saving it for Wednesday night...
This is actually a good move for television purposes. Wednesday has a dead Doubles spot at 11am with the usual schedule. Now, they can stick a singles' match there.

Confirmed by Ted n' Tracy: Venus/Jelena Wednesday NIGHT!
WTA World is pissed, but I don't see the problem. There is no difference between one and two days off. The difference would only be one and NO days off.

I assume the Vee fans are pissed because Jelena played well into night on Saturday, and has played a couple 3-setters.
I like it, so I'm not complaining. Like I said, non-stop singles' coverage Tuesday and Wednesday. Winners are we.
However, if there was a chance of rain... then, it would get interesting.
Speaking of the weather on the east coast... I don't think it has ever been sunny for the entire 2 weeks. Which will happen this year.

Told ya Peer would butcher Radwanska. Radwanska is delusional - claims her goal is to be #1. Someone in the press room should ask her how she's supposed to achieve that with a FH that makes Medina Garrigues' look like a cannon. And let's not talk about that 2nd serve. Plus she's ugly as fuck.
In the little I saw of Vika vs Sveta, Sveta was overpowering her. So much for Vika having "overwhelming power". B-list basher and no more. Good DTL BH though.
Chak is really working on her game, adding new stuff (a better 2nd serve, a more aggressive ROS). I used to go out of my way to try to prove that no, Chak played nothing like that cunt Hingis, but I knew she did, at least a bit. But I think some of these additions are borrowed from Henin. That sliced 2nd serve that doesn't look that big but is quite difficult to attack, the way she sometimes uses heavy topspin to disrupt her opponent's rhythm in a rally (something no other Russian does IIRC)...
Peer is a very bad matchup for Chak though, so Peer should make SF.
Szavay is a delight to watch, maybe even more than Bepa. Plays smartly and does everything well. I foresee a career of heartbreaking losses to stupid ballbashers. Starting tomorrow.

The Hingis comment had me laughing out loud [not unlike Sjengster's comments in yesterday's thread]. I agree with you on Szavay, but think Chak should get past Peer. My belief in Chak is most likely clouded by my desire for her to win this title.

Mattek is a slut.
This Gulbis is not a wise player. Your bashing is not working today. Oh well. You're playing Carlosh, who gives you an automatic Plan B since he never wants to hit his shitty backhand. Oh, but let's still bash every shot and make 10000 errors. Ugh.
