Hi Guys! Got all your emails printed and i've got the red envelope and i'll bring it with me. There will be a special ceremony for Roger on center court tomorrow at 1300h and you bet Doris and i will be there. Then he will play at 5 pm. It might be difficult to even get close to him esp. after Wimbledon but i'll do my best. Wish us luck. Needless to say, i'll also be there on Thursday. I'm off to bed now so we'll be fresh and ready for an exciting day tomorrow. I'll bring you news as soon as i get back. Ciao!

Hi, we're back! I dropped Doris at our tennisclub where she parked her car and she's on her way home to try to catch the sports news at 10:20 pm. Boy, did we have a great day! She was sooo happy she could take the day off cuz we had luck---we saw Alex Corretja's match (part of it), we saw Rogi being presented to the public as the Wimbledon Champion and everyone rose to their feet and gave him a warm applause, and they gave him a cow as a present, all 800 kilos of it! ;D It was sweet & funny, they asked him what name he would give and he said, "Juliet". Then we saw Kratochvil's match, then finally we saw Roger's match. Great to see him up so close! And----mission accomplished, i gave him the red envelope and i told him it was from his fans online and i mentioned the red envelope from London. He said, smiling, "ah, them! Say hi from me." Isn't that neat? He even signed my ticket, and he signed Doris' program. We were highfiving & jumping like schoolgirls after it was done because we had to squeeze our way to get close to him, there were so many kids waiting for autographs. But Roger was really cool about it, very obliging, and friendly. Kudos! During play i noticed he was limping a bit, on the right leg and i mentioned it to Doris and she noticed it too. Hope it's nothing serious. Anyway, more details later, will watch the sports proogram as well, then shower and nibble. btw. I took some pictures, will post them tomorrow. Unfortunately i ran out of batteries when Roger finished his match and i was standing very close to him as the tv people interviewed him. But i took other shots as well. I also took pictures of Alex, and Feliciano Lopez (eye candy!) Hard to believe i just saw Roger on tv the other day playing on grass and then lifting the Wimbledon trophy, and today he was in Gstaad playing on clay. Can hardly wait for Thursday! ok. Talk to u guys later! ;D

I opened the pc this morning and checked my yahoo account, cuz that's where you sent it, not at freesurf. so i printed yours, and put them all in the red envelope. Even Marymarygirl sent one as well, and Doris added more lines to her poem. So it was really worth it, i was standing at the very end of the line, and before he got to me i already said, handing out the red envelope, something like, "these are from your fans online, you got one red envelope from London as well, and that he doesn't have to read them immediately, to take his time, and that everyone sends their well wishes..." ;D sportsnews time...brb!

Wimby w be the best place... somewhere in betw and theyh speak English! I could all be your interpreter in Madrid but it w be crazy!! Well, have to hunt for red envelope...

Can't wait to hear from you again...are you going back on Thursday? They joked that this weekend he could already have his own milk and cheese! lol The great Roy Emerson was there too, and we saw this boy who looked like Roger, ponytail, white headband and red Swiss flag tshirt, it was amazing! They even showed him on tv tonight. ;D I saw him standing right next to Corretja to have his pic taken, and i took a picture too. Alex seemed impatient to get out from all that crowd, but he did sign autographs for a few minutes. Yes, my husband and i will be there on Thursday, with better seats, just in front of the court. Halfway through the 2nd set today of Roger's match, i left Doris where we were seated and went to the loo, then i stood behind the sponsors' loge, and i could get a better picture so i stayed there and the usherette let me sit there till the end of the match. Then Doris and i waited till he finished signing autographs on the court hoping he would pass our way, but he took the back street (with 2 bodyguards and other entourage) then went inside the compound again to sign some more . This was the queue that we were in, there was this iron thing (fence?) separating us, and then we got lucky. ;D Glorious day today, it was really hot out there in the bleachers, i was sweating in my white linen shorts and i think i burnt my arms, neck and thighs a bit! But no worries, it was really worth it. Ask Doris. We kept saying wouldn't it be great if all of you girls were there too, it would have been a riot. My husband rang up as we were leaving Gstaad and i mentioned it to him that i got Roger's autograph and all, and he said, "oh, but i can't tell that to my friends!". LOL.

Hello everybody!! Well what can I say?? It really was fantastic - and I have to admitt Switzerland really is in Federermania right now me and Mrs. B. included - oh well I guess you guys understand hehehe Well we were there at around tenisch and got our tickets. Not that clouse as we actually thought but still good enough. First match up Corretja vs. opps I forgott lol. Well to be honest it wasn't a good match pretty boring so we left after the first set. Hopped to see a glimpse of Feliciano Lopez match but Burgsmüller had to have a third set and I got into a shedule problem!! As Roger and Michel came first!! I for sure didn't want to miss the ceremony for Roger and Lopez just started to play around that time ohhh well. For sure Roger got a huge welcome!! The public was standing and clapping during the whole presentation. Just as well he leaves the cow (to bad he didn't go for Mrs. B version of nameing her Philippousis ) up in the lovely mountains. Poor thing would feel lost in Basel ;-). Cheese for a cows live long still not bad hehehe. He looked a bit unconfortable when he was sitting on that miling chair though. Can't wait for pics when he really goes and tries to milk her Then finally Michel was on court (and still during the first set they anounced Lopez result so much me seeing him play well at least I saw him close when he was waiting for the Burgsmüller match to be finished - even though at first - when he himself watched a few games from the Corretja match I mistook him for Roger ooopppsss but hey that was from the distance and he had the exact same outfit and hairdo than Roger had in Wimby - already when they played their match then I had a hard time to separate them... stupid me lol ) back to Michel he won the match not really convincingly but he won and that's all that matters!! He even acknowleged it himself and he for sure had troubles to keep his serve at least in the beginning. He started to play better in the third set (where I missed the first few games thanks to an unavoyable toilet break...) Couldn't be bothered to watch Schüttler so I got myself something to eat and then we left the grounds and walked around Gstaad a bit. And we allmost missed the beginning of Roger's match!! Well we just got seated when they started to play. (O.K. we missed the pressentation and the warm up but nevermind.) Roger was clearly the boss from the beginning even when he had quit a hard time to break Lopez (Marc this time don't even know if they have the same family roots only noticed it now that they have the same name hehehe) and he offered us some of his big range of different shots. It really was the best match this day I saw variety wise. But then all of a sudden when he had matchpoints nothing worked anymore (Just as well he didn't have such lapses at Wimby!!) and that Lopez guy really went for his points!! Well the whole public was really relived when he finally did it - guess that's why he once again got an other standing ovation!! He for sure was in danger there for a moment even though he was the better player. But guess he just wanted it to make it too good and spectacular for us. (Poor guy plays to good to be able, better the public allowes him to play simple.... and always feels he has to produce a magic shot!!) And geee was this boy sorry men ever patient with signing autographs!! And yes even I turned into a signature hunter he still was signing tickets, balls, magazines, papers whatever at least half an hour after his match has finished!! He for sure signed every single thing that was handed to him!! First at one side of the court (I already thought he's not going to do it but he had to give an other TV interview first) then at the exit of the court and finally at the entrance of the players lounge - where I got mine ;-) and Mrs. B. handed him the messages!! He for sure smiled when he got them and I confirm he said "oh yes say hello to them" Mrs. B and myself were the youngest teenies for about 5 minutes . That we got our autographs really was the icing on the cake and made an already great day unforgetable! (Thank you boss that you let me go!! ) It for sure was a really great day! And I'm so glad I could take this chance to finally go and see a match in Gstaad Mrs. B. and I for sure had a blast.. Hope I didn't bore you with my kind of long blabla hehehe see you around tomorrow!!
