I'd like to believe that Fed could win, but that would be too optimistic, right?
Roger will probably build leads and watch them dissolve in a hail of UEs like always.

Until they play at Wimbledon or one of the hardcourt tournaments and Roger wins. Or, maybe it stops if Nole gets to #2.
This is their 17th meeting. Already halfway to Sampras-Agassi. zzzzzzz

Not even that. I hope Nadal makes a statement and puts and end to this The Rivalry bullshit once and for all. Why would the fact that one of them has the clear upper hand on the surface they happen to play the most on mean their rivalry should come to an end?

Why would the fact that one of them has the clear upper hand on the surface they happen to play the most on mean their rivalry should come to an end? If The Rivalry isn't competitive in the surface where The Rivals are likely to meet more often, then what does that leave?

I'm hoping to be surprised...I'd like a great match, five sets, a match where Roger doesn't blow leads, and both play great, I come away feeling Roger played so well, he asked all the questions, and in so doing win or lose, I get close to the answer to the question in my own mind, "Exactly how great can Rafa play of pushed all the way to play his greatest!" My second choice of a match would be Rafa a little off today and Roger fulfilling his RG dream. This is the first year I can say that if Nadal wins, I'll be sad for Roger, as usual, but also happy for Rafa. Thus spake Freudothrustra

This is exactly like every Fed/Nad RG match ever. Except this time Fed took about two games to get demoralised. And completely gave up on the set.
