I like The Chak, but I'm not sure she's going anywhere. I do wonder if the off-court trauma affected her much more than she's letting on, but I think her ranking dip was inevitable regardless.

I like The Chak, but I'm not sure she's going anywhere. I do wonder if the off-court trauma affected her much more than she's letting on, but I think her ranking dip was inevitable regardless. I'd settle for "staying somewhere", never mind "going anywhere". And that draw was beckoning her... Zheng to beat Vaidisova? Or is it a genuine resurgence?

My commentator: "If Jelena Jankovic is on top of the rankings for injury timeouts, Rafael Nadal is 1010." I don't get it. I think Vaidisova will beat Zheng handily. Vaidisova is actually really good and has been this far before on multiple occasions. She should really be a fixture in the Top Ten by now, that's obvious (especially when looking at the current Top Ten).

My commentator, being completely serious: "Rafael Nadal does not get the trainer unless he's reaaaaaaaally hurt". Really? I mean, I'm sure those blisters I've seen him call them for are quite nasty and painful and all, but let's not talk the man up where it's not really necessary. He's no Djokovic, but dude. Seriously.

Indeed. Especially when Rafa folds as soon as he has some injury and is getting his butt kicked.
I'm not watching the women's event anymore. Except to stare at Nikki with her long legs and well-developed stuff.

What's up with Youzhny , anyways? Did he forget that he once was a formidable opponent for Rafa? Yes, I had to put it on mute after a while. I believe that David Mercer was one of them. One of them made the injury time-out quote re: Jankovic, which I posted earlier, that if JJ is #1 for most injury time-outs, than Nadal is #1010 for hardly taking any injury time-outs. They came up with a rankings list for injury timeouts to prove their point. Seriously.

Listening to them drone on for 5 minutes after the match is more than enough evidence to support this. I wish that I could remember their post match quotes involving Nadal being a monster or a machine or something, but my mind has blocked it to prevent meltdown.
