No, she's still entering all those European 100Ks and even a 50K. In Brieworld, continually entering events = playing a full schedule. ;D But in a rare twist toward realism, she has also entered some of those hilariously weak Aussie 25Ks, so she might actually play soon.
Anyway I thought you used Facebook only for games, not for "friending"? Brie dumped you for your own good!

Classic pic of Brie w/ her mom & her Rolls over in her GM thread at TF. For some reason I can't copy it here.

It was on the last page here. I'll post it again, because Brie is great. Aussie 25k's. Brie will win again! I'm sure she's inspired by Melanie Oudin. Oudin lost a game to Veronica Queen.

Sadly for you Brieheads, your girl has withdrawn from this month's weak Aussie 25K qualies. But you will be excited to learn that she's entered an upcoming 75K in Shrewsbury, England -- MDO only, of course! That's because she's hoping to get into the 100K+H in Saint Malo, France that week instead, even though I doubt the H would be up to her standards. Good luck with those WC requests, Brie!

Brie aims high. If only tournament directors would understand how special Brie is.

Brie and Alexandra Stevenson should get together and talk about their future at the very top of women's tennis.

OMG SHREWSBURY. I've played tennis in Shrewsbury. Lots. It's like a 30-minute drive from my parents' house! When is this event? I will go, and meet Brie.

Huh.
We need a grass roots campaign to get Brie as hyped as say, Donald Young.

Bombard the Shrewsbury organisers with emails asking if Bree is likely to play. And that she has a mass following in elitist tennis circles. Who will sign up to their club is Bree plays. Or sth.

She's ba-aack! See Hidden World thread for the exciting details. Marilyn Baker is back, too, for fans of the older Bagel Queens.

I was wondering if she was that girl! She's not doing so great, is she. VAKULENKO's doing a lot better than she is. Of course what do you expect when you sign away your soul to the devil.

So, Brie never did win a match in 2009. It's the first time in her career that she failed to win exactly one match in a whole season. Hard to believe a player like her could go downhill, but she did. I guess this means that the Brie Rules instituted by the ITF and the WTA are working!

Brie makes her first 2010 appearance this week in a USTA "money tournament" in Ojai, California. This is not an ITF event but has a surprisingly decent field. Mysteriously, Brie was able to bypass qualfiying
(1)Olga Puchkova vs. Monica Turewicz Q vs. Maureen Diaz (4)Amanda Fink vs. Q Cierra Gaytan-Leach vs. Samantha Schoeffel
Zoe Gwen Scandalis vs. Q Sarah Lee vs. (3)Elizabeth Lumpkin Sabrina Santamaria vs. Q Brie Whitehead vs. (2)Gail Brodsky
Some of these players you'd think would be in Dothan, but maybe they live in Calif. and wanted an easier week near home.
