Mild preference for Bepa Mild preference for Roddick Goooooooooooooooooo Safina Mild preference for , although if he is going to bestow a breakthrough win on somebody, JMDP would be as good a candidate as any.

Strong preference for Dokic, Djokovic, and Federer.
Torn between Cake and Bepa. Can we put both of them in the SF and get rid of Silliams-Kuzzy QF? Cake, but just the slightest. I'd be thrilled for Bepa too.

Stupid doubles at midnight GMT Go to bed early and try to wake up for Safina/Dokic and JMDP/Fed, or attempt an all-nighter with Bepa/Cake and Nole/Andrew? Stupid AUS time zone. Torn between Cake and Bepa. Can we put both of them in the SF and get rid of Silliams-Kuzzy QF? I second this motion. Let's do it!

I'm going to be doing work late anyway, so I will be staying up.
DAVAY BEPA...but if she has to lose, at least CAKE will get her big SF spot. But I think it's Bepa's turn.
See above, replace "Bepa" with "Andrew" and "Cake" with "Djoko." And fix the genders.
DAVAY DINARA. Seriously. You're possibly #1. Let's show everyone why.
VAMOS JMDP.

Most importantly, good luck to Fishin' Hat in dubs & Mixed! Good luck to Fed and Nole. Cake v Bepa -- who can choose between these two great champions! I'm also torn about Safina v Dokic. Dinara really needs to step up, and maybe JD has done enough with those four 3-set wins to get herself going again -- but I wouldn't mind at all if she wins, as long as it's not due to another Dinara brainmelt. In juniors, good luck to Beatrice Gumulya, Nong Nok, and Gumulya/Nok in dubs.

I don't really like Del Potro much, he is kinda boring (I mean his game, I dont care about player's personalities) Anyway, Muller and Simon are boringer.
I think that the typical stile of Vilas, Sabatini and Gaudio is dying in Argentina, and all the new kids play like Del Potro and Monaco, ugh
If Fed plays the way he played that time he lost to Cañas two weeks in a row, he could lose to Delpo. But I am sure Fed will win in staright sets.
Cheering for Andy nowadays is like cheering for Courier in 1996, it has some appeal, but not enough to overlook his ugly game.
So go Bartoli, Novak, Dokic and Fed.

I think Del Potro plays more like Rios, obviamente, Rios was much more talented and Flashy than Del Potro.
Chela Nalbandian and Del Potro have games better suited for hardcourts or fast claycourts (mountain clay tournies like Kitz) that is the kind of game the new kids have. It is a little like the difference between say, Albert Costa and Verdasco.
Rios, Corretja and Guga were the first clay courters to show they could be very good on fast surfaces. I could mention Moya too, but I never liked him, and "serve and forehand" players have not proved to be that successful.
Before those players, clay courters were like the brothers of Arantxa, or bulls like Squillari. The last one of that kind to make something big was Puerta, but he was on drugs.
It is funny how Nadal is so good on all surfaces when his game is the most claycourtish of all. Like a super Bruguera.

Surprised Nole-Dick didn't get the night match... and that's an advantage for Andrew considering Nole's very late finish vs. Marko. Grr. I really think Rod Dick beats him...
I have a horrible feeling about Safina imploding.

If Fed plays the way he played that time he lost to Cañas two weeks in a row Back when I could stay up late watching shitty livestreams. Memories. Flashback to 2007 in a way. Women's upper half QF are as interesting as I could ever hope for, yet I can't forget the bottom half, and that the winner of this tournament will come out of Sveta vs Serena. Good night everyone.

Nadal as a super Bruguera! Never thought of it that way. I hope that image will leave my head soon! News: Hanturexia is just as annoying to watch in doubles as she is in singles. You just know she's going to blow it if Ai gets them in a good position. Why couldn't Ai play with Fishin' Hat? Now THAT would be a good team. Corina's a great commentator for dubs. She was once #1 in doubles, you know. (Of course, so was St. Kimmie, and that doesn't mean I'd want to hear her commentating a dubs match. )
