Easy game for Bepa! Cake doesn't like that Bepa is getting to her balls and hitting them back to the way-far side of the court. Cake doesn't feel like running in this heat! You know what happens to a cake when you leave it out in the heat.

It's sort of odd that Cake's trying to break down Bepa's backhand. It's still awe inspiring to see how flat and low some of her balls go though.

It's so early though. I don't like rooting against Cake. I wish this was the final! I didn't think I'd be rooting against Cake, either, but I am. She's all sluggish already, and now she's poking at her leg, and commentators speculate she's working up to a trainer-call. Aren't you watching a livestream?

Nice break. Mary C. says Bepa's BH is one of the best in the game. She also says she's never seen Cake get tight. Tired, maybe, but not tight! Wow, Bepa. Even Corswandt might start rooting for her if he could see her slugging that ball today!

Set to Bepa, and made it look routine somehow! I love this! JJ must be gnashing her teeth. Bepa seems immune to the insane heat.

Alicia Molik says the difference between this match and the Jankovic one is that Bepa isn't hitting slice backhands when she needs to defend, but rather she is pounding the ball with topspin.

Not to mention JJ was not even getting to many balls to hit them any kind of way. Bepa's like a roadrunner out there.

Commentators going on and on about Bepa's improved head.
