Safina and Dokic at 4-4. All I care is that the winner tires herself sufficiently to be easy pickings for Bepa.

There is no way the winner of this match could beat Vera
There is no way the winner of this match could beat Silliams or Kuz
What does Dokic's performance say about WTA?
My brinyis game predictions sucked!

I hope Safina's ranking falls out of the Top 900 this year.

Dinara, you're pathetic.
Jelena, stay in Australia and then go away next year when these points fall off.
Women's tennis, you're very nearly done for.

Thanks God I fell asleep
Del Potro does not have the game nor the mind to beat Fed, perhaps in the future, but definitely not now.
I watched the repetition a few hours ago, he is a fucking baby. He is so tall that the blood has problems reaching his brain. Someone give him a maturity pill.
His youth will be a blessing for him. Once Del Potro reaches the age of 23-24 , Fed will have retired.

Amazing that Safina could win a match playing that poorly. Her ball toss is much too high. It will always make her serve vulnerable to things like that. She is off my list of title contenders after THAT. Dementieva or Serena.
The commentators were very harsh on Novak. I don't know if he deserves it. If he's just tanking, then maybe so. If he's really just not as durable as the other guys, well, that's not all his fault.
Besides, he already got his punishment. He lost the match.
Federer sent a big message last night. He has been MUCH too tentative on the backhand. Last night, he shelved the slice and hit out on it. If he wants to beat Rafa, he's got to hit winners off the backhand.

I concur they were too harsh on Novak. It was 95-100 degrees F, and his last match finished at 2:40am. That can throw off your body.
Of course, ESPN had to slurp Andrew since they haven't had any reason to for like 5 years, and his improved fitness was a factor.

I still like Nole, but I was happy Fed dropped that truth bomb. If this was an isolated incident, fine, whatever, but it's a regular thing now. And it's always for wussy injuries, not serious ones.

The timing of the retirement was weak, immediately after the break in the 4th, but I think picking on lack of fitness is unnecessary and fallible.
The macho stuff in tennis about "giving the opponent their moment" is nonsense, also. If you're not feeling well for whatever reason and don't want to risk anything, then that's fine.
