When did Serena turn into Anna Chakvetadze? She constantly looks like she's about to cry.

LOL.
I ALMOST hope Serena wins this title just to show the rest of them how pathetic they are, and to have someone who actually wants to win at #1.

Sweta will serve for it again.
Serena is equally pathetic. The quality of this match is off the scale, at the wrong end.

Broke again.
Serena looks so slow, mopey, not setting her feet at all and Sweta can control every rally. So, who wins. I HATE women's tennis. Why am I watching this.

Let's do the research so Sweater's eventual chokesucklost is even stupider.

It depends if you want to count Navratilova as a USian, in which case there's many. The last being '83 Aussie, I think.

It depends if you want to count Navratilova as a USian, in which case there's many. The last being '83 Aussie, I think. Well, over 25 years ago. That's a long time. And I am not sure I want to count Nav unless she was playing for the US at the time. I was wondering if there were any during the Willie-Willie-Davey-JenFat years that worked out. Doesn't look like it. Came close at a couple of Wimbledons early this decade (3/4).

Looking back further, the 1st AO in '77 wins. Balestret, Reid, Cawley, Krantzcke.
Oh, Assburger's.
