15:00 Start.
(23) Robin SODERLING (DORK) d. (2) Roger FEDERER (CRY).
Juniors you should care about:
(11) Gianni MINA (FRA) vs. Daniel BERTA (SWE) Kristina MLADENOVIC (FRA) vs. Daria GAVRILOVA (RUS)
Geezers you shouldn't care about:
John MCENROE (USA) hurrying through a geezers doubles match to announce the final in time.

Dork vs Cry I have to go to a wedding party brunch and will miss this.

I'd be happy for Cry, but if Dork won it'd be so much fun rubbing it in every Fedtard's face. Regardless, the reactions at the end of the match should be fun, if not the match itself.

I can only watch 2hrs of the final...so I just want Fed to wrap it up quickly. So I can see HISTORY being made. And then turn off in disgust at the inevitable tears.

And then turn off in disgust at the inevitable tears. Let the floodgates open. Allez!

For someone who said he'd rather repeatedly win Wimbledon than ever win RG, Fed sure is making a fuss about this tournament.

Not a warm-up ball hit yet and this final is ALREADY better than yesterday's!

Well I hope Soderling makes more of a match of this. I don't want another Verkerk.

Well atleast the men got some outside intervention - it's insane this shit keeps happening even after what happened to Monica.

That clown needs shooting - shocking how close he got to Fed, was he trying to put that flag over Fed's head or something?

Ridiculous, but it was the most entertaining bit of the final so far.

Apparently he was trying to put the flag over Federer's head, but Roger ducked.

Robin is not exactly Dinara out there, at least not after a horrific first set. But just by coming out obviously nervous, he gave Fed huge hope and confidence. Rog hasn't had the opportunity to play a nervous Slam final rookie in any RG before, and seeing that on the other side of the net was all he needed to loosen up. The guy in red was scary; it took WAY too long for security guys to grab him -- just unbelievable. Look at that ballboy in the pic; he should've run out and tackled the guy and become the hero of the day.

I wonder what that flag is, anyway?
I was so relieved that Rog recovered quickly from that disturbance. It sure would've taken me a lot longer than that to calm down after a fright like that! It would have been awful for that loony asshole to affect this match's outcome.
Uh-oh, BP on Fed here ...

A few games away now.

I absolutely hate McEnroe now. He's pretending like winning this GS is a big deal because "it would tie him with Pete."

Why is everyone focusing so much on tying the all-time GS record? I mean that's great and all, but he completes his career GS right here. That's pretty huge too.

No Swiss meltdown a la RG 1999. We may get the tears at the end of the match, anyway!

He wins, and is in tears before he even gets to the net.

Well that was a bit of a dud but congrats to the GOAT! I wouldn't be so quick to call him that, when he's been unable to dominate one man from his own generation.

Soderlings good form is probably because he was wearing the Brawn GP team colours. But thats still not enough against a goat.
