Hang on...I just noticed that Pair O'Beanies was here (just lost to Govortsova). She hasn't played all year...I guess she got in via SR?

Vee played quite well today. Hard to see anyone beating her if she keeps that up. Corswandt favorite Voegele has a nice game. Always taking the ball early. But, her shots are a little weak, especially the backhand. Too bad for Krumm. Nikki fighting for her WTA career and barely hanging on so far against RNDLR. Lose. Slam points now are ridiculous... 100 points for a 1R win. Only 60 more for a 2R win? Qualies are even worse. 40 for Q1, 50 for Q2?, 60 for qualifying? How the shit does that make any sense?

It's better than last year, at least in the main draw. After conversion, it was 4/120/180 for the first three rounds, which was just NUTS.
But yeah, they definitely mucked up the qualifying points this year. Bad relative worth.

THANK GOD. Bepa can lose to fucking Johansson, I don't give a shit, but had she gone down to the WC, I would have had to rethink this fandom situation.
Speaking of horrible Brits...Keothavong getting thumped by Mayr is fucking hilarious. Muzza could very well be the only Brit to make it out of the first round.

Meanwhile, Safina struggling with LDL on grass. Thus, securing another 100 mentions from Maria Jose that the Sistahz should be the top 2 seeds here.

Anne K. Is this Pavel's swan song? I seem to recall he realized it was retirement time. Nico L and Nico D at 5-5 in ze 5th, wouhou. J.Goodall in danger of making a monkey of Llodra as they head to the decider. LDL is giving #1 a scare...
