The Chak is looking to repeat her RG heroics by serving for the match, being broken, and losing horribly (spoiler!). Chak Me

'Set to Kendrick! He clinches the second set with a fine first serve out to Murray's backhand, and following it with a stunning forehand winner down the line to close out the tie break 7-3! The American gambled on the final point, stepping inside his backhand to bludgeon his shot down the line for a clean winner!'

Murray took the third...
Was blissfully and obliviously watching Seemo slice, dice, chop and serve Reynolds, and then I look at the scoreboard and UHHHH BAG is a set down to HRADECKA!

"Murray forces another break point on Kendrick's serve at 30-40, and after a patient extended rally, Murray passes his opponent with an exquisite backhand pass cross court. Hendrick advanced to the net at just the wrong time, and was left vulnerable mid-court, as Murray establishes an advantage in the fourth set."

Cuevas def. Crochus 11-9. Ivanovic takes the second but the Czech (who sounds like a head case, surprise surprise) is still fighting.

Murray wins -- it was encouragingly difficult though. MauMau about to close out Czink in 3 DGT takes the first set vs Dent. ;D Levine up 2 sets to 1 over Safin.

Ivanovic takes the second but the Czech (who sounds like a head case, surprise surprise) is still fighting. Hradecka is refusing to play to the BAG forehand...good plan, but too many UEs on her own backhand to make it work. Could still make it through...

I don't know if BAG blew any MPs, but she served for the match - and Hradecka broke back...

She blew one. It's on TV here. Rolled it back...it was actually a nice DTL winner from Hradecka to stay alive. Easy hold...one more game and we get rid of AJDE IN YO FACE BITCH.

Yup, on TV here too, I stuck with the end of Simon/Reynolds after I saw BAG break for *5-4 though!
Anyway. Hradecka 6-5*.

This was the sequence as per Eurosport:
"Ana thinks she sent down an ace to give her two match points. Her celebration is interuppted by the umpire though and she double faults. She gets the match point, but it is saved by Hradecka. The Czech then recovers and gets the break back"

So now both girls have saved mps! Hmmm...Drama!
I was completely enthralled by the Murray encounter, cheering him on each and every point. I knew Kendrick would be dangerous based on his match against Nadal. Andy didn't impress. Once the match got tight, he started hitting mid-court balls, completely without depth. He needs to step it up.

Got back just in time to see Chak commit a dumb error MP down, burst into tears and murder her racquet. Ugh, why do I support her. I saw this on the highlights reel. Hilarious, but I like Chak too!

100 pts to beat a scrub? What a joke. Like I said, it was worse last year. 60 points = 120 now. Points are generally double for slams now, but not the rest of the tournaments. So, it's roughly the same. ESPN's defending of showing so much Ivanovic's disgusting game is giggly. "She was good last year!" "She's popular here i.e. kinda pretty".
