Roger vs. Andy [SCO] would be my favourite final though.

Too many errors. Can't afford that at all.

Consecutive botched drop shots. Women's tennis?

Quite an entertaining match, but you don't get the feeling that Federer is in any kind of trouble. That's because Tommy is not quite as tough in the crucial moments as he was in previous matches.

Alan Wilkins was making fun of Federer's challenges always being wrong (He's 0 for 4 today) and then defended it by saying "Well, his tennis is so good, he doesn't need challenges."
Tommy's serve has really bailed him out today!

I'm getting nervous now. Mandy's GS results this year have been:
AO - 4R RG - QF W - ?
Looks like a SF. A loss to Roddick at Wimbledon. I might die. Ugh.

What? No. Murray is going to have to choke to lose this.

Is it true that NBC is showing last year's final right now, instead of this SF? I left my sister's house after the Haas match when they announced that.

To be fair to NBC, last year's final isn't the worst match that they should have chosen.

That depends on if its the women's final or the men's final.

What? No. Murray is going to have to choke to lose this. Maybe I'm just being a paranoid fan and Murray wins this eaisly. I hope that's the case!

6-4 Andy (USA).
An intriguing match-up. Andy (USA) played two excellent down the line backhands to close out the set. He's playing very smart, outplaying Andy (SCO) from the baseline. Larry Stefanki must be a brilliant coach.
Still, Andy (SCO) should be the favourite even against a red-hot Andy (USA). But, there is immense pressure on him, and you can never know what this does to people. So far, he hasn't been moving well and playing too passively.

Back from the toilet break and Andy (SCO) plays a perfect return game.

Back from the toilet break and Andy (SCO) plays a perfect return game. Toilet break after one set?

The break at the end of the set came a bit out of nowhere. No break points at all until then. Murray never seemed to get out of start-of-match mode and was too content to play within himself. I said when Roddick won SP that it would probably be a wake-up call for Murray start playing more purposefully, b/c Roddick was more solid than spectacular. And then that magnificent break to love to open set 2 proved me right I mean... so not worried at this point.

I find it charming and classy when Murray screams 'Come On!' and pumps his fists. This is okay. What's not okay is when the feed that I'm currently watching decides that it's time to do a slow-mo close-up of Murray as he shouts "Come On!" This is not a Murray that anybody should ever have to see.

Fantastic lob to serve the first BP, the second however was way too weak from Andy (USA).
