According to WTAW, Wozniacki's "hahahahaha" is the funniest thing EVER!!!!!1.

Soo from this thread it's become apparent that the wta players are just as dumb, boring or catty as the posters on wtaworld. This is sad.

Were you expecting most of them to be funny, smart, and interesting? Have you met a jock before? This is why the few that are funny, smart, and interesting are such a treasure.

My opinion on Tursunov is that if he posted the same stuff and was ugly, no one would care. I think he'd still be somewhat amusing. Come on, imagine if Radsex posted that stuff!

This might have been funny, except Justine described it as a "magical moment" in her interview, according to the translations.

I was just thinking before you posted this: yeah, Lindsay wouldn't get involved in sth like this. Pathetic.

It's been 8 years! And they're still not over it?
Someone should upload the video of how Wozniacki was making fun of Serena's on court antics in her Belarus exho and tweet it to Serena for more of those "hahaha" gems.

So, these girls now think they're a few levels above Henin in terms of classy behavior? Instead of doing something worthwhile, they come on internet to tweet some rather stupid and childish remarks.

This is really not surprising on Serena's part. And I don't know/care enough about Caro to comment on her remark but I thought Lindsay had grown up. I guess she did post bitchy remarks about Venus on Coco's FB wall a couple of years ago, so, whatever. This has probably been said over the The World, but has Justine ever been fined for threatening to kill a linesperson?

Does anyone else suspect that part of why Serena can't get over these things, and also seems to think she's the only player they happen to, is because she never went through juniors or challengers?
The other part obviously being that she's a self-absorbed overgrown toddler.

I wouldn't say she's not over it based on a Tweet. People tweeted her about the Henin interview so she reacted.
I never cared about THE HAND incident, but it's obvious Henin still doesn't regret what she did because of how she feels about Serena. (Henin claims that she doesn't feel bad about it because she thinks it didn't affect Serena's first serve, but I don't buy it). I can't blame Serena to not have much respect for her, who would in her shoes?
If there's other people like Davenport laughing, it's probably because they don't think much of Henin as well, and they know her better than we do.
Davenport doesn't seem like the type of person who would dislike another player for no good reason.

Whether or not they all have good reasons for not being fond of Henin, it all reads as very juvenile behaviour from people who probably ought to spend more time reading books. Of course, I'd like for this behaviour to continue, because it's funny.

Davenport has 3 Slams and WozDen has 0. Justine has 7, and, moreover, probably isn't up all night crying about how she's not friends with them. Ergo, tough titties.

I didn't make my point that well.
To Justine, what matters to her (I would guess) renders the whole thing moot. She's proven she's a better tennis player than anyone currently BFFing with Serena (important to her), and I'm sure she doesn't crave their approval or respect (not important to her) like she does from, say, Carlos, or me. Correct?
Much better. QED tough titties.

Davenport doesn't seem like the type of person who would dislike another player for no good reason. She acted like a baby when JJ accidentally hit her with a ball a few years back and was a total bitch about it. There's more to her than the classy persona that the tennis media kept rambling on about. Anyway, I don't have a problem with Serena's reaction. Obviously Justine brought it up herself, she wasn't forced to discuss The Hand all over again. It's Wozniacki's and Davenport's comments that annoy me, not because they're anti-Justine, but simply because I'd expect them to say something coherent. Or at the very least, something that's not "hahahaha" or "OMG luv it".

Davenport is a total bitch, but that doesn't mean she isn't reasonable. Having said that, she probably isn't reasonable.

There's an article on this already: tennis.fanhouse.com/2011/02/25/eight-years-later-serena-williams-cant-get-over-justine-henin/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterAnd some quotes translated by Matt Cronin: Henin now seems to regret the incident. “I think she saw it and she was disturbed by that,” she said. “There is a lot of tension, actions are a bit by instinct. So it's true that it is not the best memory. If I had been convinced that she had seen it, had been bothered by it, I might have reacted. But you react on instinct. At the same time what happened was magic. I don't know if that changed the match. I hope I’m not saying that in bad faith. "Maybe it was a way to give me respect, because you know that Williams have an attitude, sometimes difficult. They play with a lot of intimidation. know that the Williams had attitudes that were sometimes difficult. Today, it doesn’t scare me any more. When they walked on the court, the other one was already there at her side. It was a big moment in my career, in the history of Roland Garros, too. That [weak] handshake, the start of a long story between us, but I think we kept mutual respect. Not one of the warmest moments in the history of tennis, but still remains a great memory."

I've always wondered whether Serena saw the hand and chose to serve anyway. When she missed it, then she invoked it.
We are so bi-atchy about anything that happens with the women. McEnroe and Connors did worse things than the Hand in like, every match.
Anyway, one first serve didn't affect the outcome of that one. If Serena got angry and lost her focus over the Hand, THAT was the real effect of it. But that's her own fault.
As for Serena's siege mentality, well, that's not uncommon amongst religious people and/or daughters of Richard.
