I'm sad for Clout bcos if we don't get out of round 1, he will likely never play for the Canucks again bcos he can't prove his worthy anymore. But I want to cry now for Hedberg (really, tears in my eyes). The whole team sucked tuesday, he shouldn't be the one who got chased. But I knew it, I knew he won't get a second chances , Poor Johan, back to the doghouse again. Gosh, this is so sad. You don't want to be a goalie in Vancouver, I tell ya. Today's starting goalie: Auldy, our farm team goalie. Guess Lee will be delighted for that news.

I'm pretty surprise Crawford will put a farm team goalie to start a playoff match though. May be throw the Flames off? Hedberg and Kiprusoff are buddies. So, I will extend my love to him

I'm pretty surprise Crawford will put a farm team goalie to start a playoff match though. May be throw the Flames off? Not really. That would be an awfully risky business to throw a green goalie in just to throw off the other team. Craw just don't have faith in Johan. He doesn't give him any benefit of a doubt . I knew Johan was on thin ice when the third goal got in last game. Anyway, Auldy is pretty good. Craw might be cruel, but Auldy's worthy.

From the play-by-play. Auld seems pretty solid.

5-1 Habs vs Bruins 4-1 Wings vs Preds 3-1 Sharks vs Blues 2-1 Flames vs Nucks

Flames has not won a playoff series since 1989, the year Flames won the Stanley Cup. :red:

I am sad for the Nucks. It's sad to see a team collapse losing another key player. Too bad for Cloutier. Congrats to the Flames, though. They are brave men. Also, those Sharks are already through. I'm afraid they might go the distance. So the mighty Habs managed to stay alive. Good.

The Leafs lead 3-2 now... Now the Sens have to win and make the series as interesting as it should be. ;D The Bolts are through. Poor DiPietro, he looked sharp in that one game... But suffered 3 goals in every match but that one... And ladies and gentlemen, take cover. Tomorrow, the biggest Avalanche ever is gonna strike the world.

The Avs buried the Stars.
The Flyers took out the Devils.
The Wings wrung out the Predators.
So far, all teams facing elimination today were, eliminated.
Let's see what happen to the Habs and Nucks.

So looks like Nucks will be another survivor tonight.
Shame on you Flames. I need not see the match to imagine how they play. 6 shots on goal after half of the game speaks for itself. :red:

It's a shame that the Flamers didn't score on that last power play at the end of the second period, or it'd ahve been a one goal game! Still not an impossible deficit. Let's go, Flamers!
My roomate informed me that he's rooting for the Flamers because he thinks they'd be a good team for teh Sens to face in the finals. To this I laughed. And laughed. And then laughed some more. Because really... isn't it obvious why I laughed?

It's a one goal game now but I'm not confident. Well, there are many reasons why you laughed and laughed and laughed. Mine may be totally different from yours, Becca but I laughed too.

It's a one goal game now but I'm not confident. Unbelievable. 4 goal lead ERASED. Come on Flamers! One more! Well these were my reasons - I was thinking the following: 1) Heyell NOOOOO to the Sens getting out of round 1 2) Heyell NOOOOO to Calgary battling all the way out of the West

Unbelievable. 4 goal lead ERASED. Come on Flamers! One more! The last goal is always the toughest. Honestly, I don't have much faith. Feel free to surprise me, Flames. ;D ;D ;D I don't know the Eastern Conference that much. For Flames, if they come out of 1st round, they may have a chance vs the aging Red Wings but after 2 rounds, there won't be any healthy young guns left to past Avs or Sharks.

The Sens might be good enough to win the Eastern Conference, in theory... but I think the Leafs will beat them in game 6 or 7, putting them out of the playoffs. EEETTSSS OVERTIME. I'll come back and report the good stuff

I may be desperate enough to invade the Rodduck thread tonight.

Eeeeetttts double overtime! That was a GREAT period! Very even, very physical, very exciting. Both teams had a couple great scoring chances, but came up empty. Woooo! Flamers have 1:25 left on their power play
