The surprising thing about Milosh is that he was a pretty average junior player. No one really saw it coming.

Oh come on, Shafarzhova. It seems like her purpose in life was to wear out Jankovic at Wimbledon 07.

And he's up 2 sets to love!
And no drama. That was the mildest "fist pump" I've ever seen. Really reminds me of Pete with his blank face, slumping posture, twirling his racket while waiting for serve, just general bearing. Not the BH, though, which is 2-handed.

This Raonić CAN. For now, at least. Yes he can! Yes he can! I'm really excited about this kid, and like jon said, it's out of nowhere. Have not seen a surprise Slam debut like this one in a while.

Meanwhile, Bepa in failing to serve out a match SHOCKER. Two DFs Spoiler! Your post was a couple of points ahead of my tv. Of course I was very confident about Bepa's chances. Milosh broke back. I'm feeling way better now about Llodra losing to this kid. Even that day Milosh looked great but I also blamed Llodra. I see now that it was not his fault.

Wow!!! Fun tiebreak in the Bepita-Devileyes match. Though it's tiresome to watch Bepa play so passively when it's so important ...

If Shafarzhova was a bit more agile, she would have taken the set. Sad. Vera will now go on and lose to Kim 2 and 2. Yay.

Whew. That was a pretty epic TB. Good on Bepa for hanging tough, even though she should have ended it half an hour earlier. True, but then we wouldn't have seen Lucie's best points. Which were really fun to watch, though maybe not for Bepa.

Like I figured, this is the problem with players like Raonic. The commentators here just won't shut up about their background. Yeah, his name ends in -ić and his name is Miloš, who could imagine he comes from ex-Yugoslavia?! We totally thought he's from East Africa.

Ha, yes, we also just heard he was "born in Serbia". Like that was some accident, not like he's actually a Serb or anything! He's had 27 aces, 55 winners so far in this match

Nav is very excited about the 3 lefty Czech chicks playing tonight. Which is, she's right, pretty bizarre.
