Apparently, Sam Smith said on BBC that Wozniacki is the most mentally tough player in the game since Monica Seles. The US announcers say that about Sharapova every time she wins a match. Then they say it about Serena, every time SHE wins a match. And they used to say it about Henin, too. Never, ever do they notice that they constantly contradict themselves.

PONY!!!!!!!!!! One set all now, very exciting. He was 15-40 down in that last game, hit 2 aces and two massive first serves in a row to serve out the set. Very happy to see him back to this level, even though I don't rate his chances over 5 sets here. Well, it's basically gonna be 2 out of 3 tomorrow, so there's that I don't believe he can actually win it, but just so great to see him back.

Oh Pony, you are awesome. I still think the surface will give the edge to Novak, who has a great defence and great counterpunching skills, on a fast surface with a high bounce, like the US OPEN after watching this, I have to give the edge to Delpo

Kuz is looking really good so far. Myskina's flown in to work with her for this tournament which seems to be working out well. Kuz is due for a random horrific slam win anyway, so why not?

I wouldnt Mind Sveta winning her third Slam This. I'm rooting for Sveta and Fran, because everybody else blows or I hate them. Or probably I juts don't know who anybody else is anymore. Women's tennis is the worst.

Hurley has totally distracted me with that 1/2 seeds thing. In Wimbledon '94, of course Steffi went out in 1R, but ASV made it to the 4R before losing to Zina. And Wimbledon '08 when the Serbians were the top two seeds (LOL), BAG lost to Zheng in the 3R but JaJa made it to the 4R before Tammy beat her. sports.yahoo.com/tennis/news?slug=ap-frenchopen"Wozniacki’s early exit came a day after No. 2 Kim Clijsters was eliminated by 114th-ranked Arantxa Rus, marking the first time that the top two seeded women failed to make the round of 16 at any Grand Slam tournament in the Open era, which began in 1968. It never had happened at the French Open since it began admitting foreign entrants in 1925."That article will change soon, so click link NOW!

Thanks, Hurley! Poor woman came up with a name that's actually even harder to pronounce than Hantuchova. It sounds like some medication.

I know. I thought at first it was a joke, just a sketch they made to make fun of the players.

The name thing was funny and all, but it's the absolute joy with which she analyzed the floor that won me over!
