Boom Boom Bine. KvittyGOAT. Mimi. Bernie. RIGHT? I guess what I've established is that I'm tired of some of these old people. Go.

CAKE-Ree is the pick of the women's matches, which means Ree wins 6-0, 6-0 in 3 minutes.
People I care about and root for:
Anduh CAKE EVIL Queen Masha
People I remotely care for, enough to root for them in most matches:
Berdych Lisicki Kvitova
People I don't care about but would rather they win their respective match:
Piro Del Potro Llodra Sexy Domi
The rest NOC. Way to complicate things.

Go
Wussquet Pornikova Pony
Cake Llodra Youzhless
Sexy Domi
FISH
Petrova
Spanish Feliciano to beat Polish Feliciano
KVITIGOAT
x-man
many good matches
If I had to choose, the one that looks most interesting to me is Mardy vs Berdych
Pony Rafa and Wussquet Nadal also seem very good
The battle of the felicianos, too much prettiness for only one match
I think Malisse beats Tomic rather easily

Go.
Wussquet (Never thought I'd say that, but Bimbledon fans will be especially annoying from now on.) Vee (I want Kvitty to take her out.) Del Pony (Indifferent, but I want anything but Rafa/Roger Final Part 132432423) CAKE (This is the women's tournament right here. Serena is guaranteed to make the final if she wins this one.) Llodra (Both are fine, and Nole will get #1 eventually anyway) Youzhny (Same as Rafa.) Pung Shuai (She's not Mariabot.) SexyDomi (Meh.) Berdych (Fish's game is ugly. And Berdprych at least has a shot of beating Rafa.) Nadejda (A long slam run once she's dead and buried would be very SEWTA. Go Mariabot/Serena/Nadejda/Vee SF!) Kubot (He's a fun stupid basher to watch.) Ferrer (Meh.) Lisicki (Meh. Cetkovska has done her good deed already.) Kvitty (Please win this slam somehow.) Malisse/Tomic (Both are assholes. Fuck them.)
Go.

As well as Stupid Sunday, Manic Monday is overrated. Sure, greatest day of tennis or whatever, but everything's on at the same time. If yesterday's simultaneous drama rendered me a quivering wreck, this will cause me an aneurysm.
Go:
Anduh (from two sets down again, for prime Wuss mockery) Tsveti (continue the Vee ownage) Delpo (what Leena said, bored of Rafa/Roger now, also Delpo is sexier) CAKE (duh) Hobak (I guess I'm supporting Hobak to win this whole thing) Youzhny (see Delpo, though I'm less pro-Youzhny than I am pro-Pony) PENGUIN (duh, and she's beaten Ma$ha before! Hope! Sigh) SexyDomi (duh, and she's beaten the Woz this year! Hope! Sigh) Berdman (Fish's continued existence in this tournament/in the top 10 is horrendous) Nadezhda (LOL, but Azza needs to go away swiftly for a multitude of reasons) Deliciano (eagerly anticipating the field day the tabloids will have with Murray vs. the man his mother wants to bone) I like both Ferrer and JWT, the latter has more chance of beating Fed though I guess? Cetkovska (I like Sabine but it would appear that I'm still bitter about the Li loss) Kvitova (6-0 6-0. Please win this.) Paszek (prove me wrong and become a good player!) Tomic (going with the new asshole with the fun game, for now I enjoy watching him play)

Pervak vs Paszek - In light of a very possible rape in the QTF I hope this match gets cancelled and whoever was due to meet the winner gets a proper bye to the SF.
Aside of that, I'd also like to see W next to the names of Nadal, Llodra and Cetkovska.

Why don't players stand farther back to return Serena's serve, the way Justine used to do? She used to stand way back, return the serve and THEN move forward, but I never see other players use this tactic against Serena, Venus, or the other big servers. But Cake is stubborn in her ROS positioning. Anyway I hope she'll put up a good fight. No matter what I'm always reading, I think Serena is very far less quick around the court than she used to be. True, she's so strong that she can hit mighty winners even on the reach, so maybe that's why we keep being told she is super-quick. But you can't count on that working always.

hello all, the australian baton has been officially passed from our lleyton to tomic, c'mon! Bernie has not proven to be very likeable so far, any more than Lleyton was/is. Maybe as he grows up, if he proves to be less of an a$$hole adult than he seems to be as a teenager, we'll grow to love and support him. But why can't you Aussies produce another Pat Rafter instead of more and more Lleytons?

What has Tomic done to get himself a reputation of an asshole? I remember this topic was brought up once and the basic concept was that he simply looks like one. I'm just not ready to hate him on that simple premise, so anything concrete? I hated Lleyton for some time, so I'm ready to jump at that new bandwagon.
Anyway, I'm at work and don't know what match to choose, hmmm.

Anyway, I'm at work and don't know what match to choose, hmmm. I think his camp and family have gotten reps as establishment-bucking troublemakers or something? But the most commonly told asshole story is of Tomic being an asshole to Hewitt, so I'm down with that. I wouldn't call myself a fan or anything because I sense that assholishness does lurk there, but I do like his unique game and poker face.

Yes, I think most of it has to do with his dad. But didn't he walk off the court and refuse to play once? At his dad's insistence? Too bad I can't remember why this happened.

I also can't pick out what match to actually watch. It can't be a screecher, so 2 matches ruled out. Think I'll have to go with Tomic on Alex's recommendation of his game.

I like that his dad seems to be deliberately limiting Tomic's tournaments at the moment, contra the insistence of Tennis Australia, because he thinks Tomic still needs time to grow into his body (obvious, looking at him). That's the opposite of the Wozniacki-esque tournament whoring that so many young players' camps seem to want to push them into. Also, let us remember that he is playing uber-asshole XAVIER FUCKING MALISSE, who has accused the line judges of being Australian already
