Kvitty is the only new young player that seems really good, like someone who would have been a top player when we had the williams, the belgians, davenport, capriati, mauresmo etc
the best thing would be for her to win, to have her ranked over Woz, Aga and Aza. If I were Woz out of shame I would rest in order to stop being ranked 1

There's only nobody worth caring about because the media doesn't recognize they exist.
Kvitty could get to that level, but she is still way too inconsistent now.

The trouble with SEWTApocolypse is that it leaves us with almost nobody worth caring about. Granted, this was the case before SEWTApocolypse as well, but hey. I suppose that I would prefer a Cake or Kvitty title out of this sorry lot. Failing that, whoever plays Sharapova. I would have preferred that Woz not lose. But we do have some players to follow! Azarenka trying to get past the QF, Kvitova trying to crush everybody, Paszek in a QF?!?, Bartoli following-up? Cibulkova PLEASE PLEASEPLEASE BEAT MASHA NOW BBQ! I wish the draw had worked out differently and Schiavone and Vera could be around but fuck it, it didn't. Sharapova is the only player left with a Grand Slam title. Oh, remember when Dominika nearly double-bagelled Maria? That was fun.

We don't need Kubot in the quarters. Come on, Feliciano!

The Paszek run is surprising. I watched a lot of her 1st round match against Little Ayumi, and she was getting crushed. Then the light went on and she started chasing down balls and hitting huge BHs.
Kubot is an awful player to watch. He just hits everything as hard as possible. F-Lo isn't much better.

Why does Rafa get so annoyed when he's called out for a time violation? Surely he must know he's taking the piss all the time.

I really need, someday soon, for the umpire to go to the second warning and for Rafa/Nole to start losing points. Betcha they'd speed their shit up then.

OpenCourt Nadal's PR guy just Tweeted that "all of us" were upset with the time violation warning. Again. Why? How? 3 minutes ago via web from England, United Kingdom
You know...the Rafa camp can be really creepy sometimes.
