I always felt like the Rafa/Rog AO '09 final was just as good as the GMOAT, actually. Maybe even better for most of it...apart from the last set, which is what people care about. GMOAT was a very poor quality match for most of it, no? It was dramatically epic, but quality-wise apart from that last set? AO was better, until that last set, yeah.

I'm here!
Some dude: "I love you Rafa!" LOL.
Remember that other guy who ran on the court and kissed him?

This Wimbledon crowd loves to start clapping before they hear calls.

As I tweeted, I wholeheartedly approve of how Rafa has increased the acceptance and frequency of man-on-man catcalling. #paraphrasing #tiredofusingmymaterialintwoplaces

Wertheim is bitching about the ball bouncing. Do people really care about that?

I'm here. Even though I've been using streams the whole fortnight because my TV reception blows.

Are you watching Twitter commentary just as much as the match?
I was excited about the commentary team I ended up with on my livestream until Boris Becker spoke up. Have never liked him as a commentator, though there are worse.

I stick with my Romanian commentators, great quality (even if bit delayed), and I'm not annoyed as I don't understand anything.

I recently re-watched the GMOAT and no, it wasn't poor quality at any point. It was a bit irritating the way Fed kept losing breakpoints in the opening few sets (usually with silly errors). It got really good starting in about set 3 and continued in that vein as Fed faced extinction several times only to fight back constantly. All that said, it was a grass court match so much of it was serve-forehand. AO '09, which I haven't seen since it occurred, I don't remember being as good. It was entertaining yet the semi against Verdasco was a higher level, wasn't it? Besides, Fed-Error made an appearance in the last set.

Rafa is so not winning it since he's the one making all the unforced errors.

Wertheim is bitching about the ball bouncing. Do people really care about that? I don't know. I can think of only one reason to care and that is if it's less a habit and more a way of taking more time to recover between points.

That one had great quality all though out for me. Maybe you're right and I don't rate it because of it being so much about the serve. All I remember is Fed playing poorly yet winning those tie-breaks thanks to his serve.

Hmmm...if Nole wins here, Fed may very well have prevented a CYGS and unbeaten season.
Rafa in a bit of trouble here.

If Novak wins this title...he probably clinches year-end #1, right? No one would be able to catch him unless they go on an undefeated run of their own.
