28 games won across these three stupid women's combined six Slam finals. That's an average of 4.5 games won per match. Russian failures Great post.

Yeah, I'm reading the archives instead of having a life. Suck it.

I should just say, I guess, how much I enjoy you and Leena reminiscing about forums past and present. It never fails to make me literally LOL and always in an extremely embarrassed way.

Okay, I was on fire early in that thread.
"He truly is like Venus calling Serena black. "
That's just one gem from yours truly.

I've been online for 12 years. Oh, god.
I have no idea why Burley and GoDom were fighting, though.

I read a bunch of old random threads in some of the Slam archives while watching this Del Pony final on ESPN. I wish I had been cut-and-pasting more of the posts which made me LOL for multiple seconds.
I suppose I should be out dating or exercising or something but I work all the time and my only holidays are Obligation Vacations with my family. It's just an exhausting, disheartening life and I apologize for nothing that brings me joy.

It's Day 6 (I think) of that French Open where we fight about...I don't know, Justine and the AO final and me not being "objective." And we kept fighting in the Wimbledon forum! About a Molik WC! So so so funny.

I exercised today! I suppose I should be working on my career or doing something productive (I could learn a language!) but I also like perusing old message board postings of mine. We have that in common.
I think I've mellowed a lot since then.

I suppose I should do anything which would be helpful to my life, as opposed to nothing.
Today was a rough day where I said to one of the attorneys that continuing at this job for much longer would be "a wasted life," and I had to backpedal pretty hard. Fortunately we're friends so I don't think he took it too hard and won't hold it against me come evaluation time!

I haven't followed your various life rants threads so tell me: does it pay well?
Most jobs suck. The one nice thing about a stupid job where you get paid nothing is that you turn the key at the end of the night and you forget about it. Your responsibility ends there. Jobs like you have where they put you on "salary" are usually the worst because it means they expect you to work around the clock. But if it makes you good scratch then I guess that's something.

It's like they found exactly the right amount to keep me around and still be laughable for the amount of effort I put in. Plus they bill me out to clients for NINE TIMES what they pay me. That's right: clients are charged a rate for my work and I see 11.11111% of that. The firm gets the rest.
Anyway, another ME ME ME thread!

That sounds about right. I estimate I make about .... oh .... 3% of the gross sales of my restaurant. Maybe a bit more.
I think being self-employed is the best way of being. You just have to find the thing to be self-employed at that works. Making your own hours, decisions and profit seems pretty good to me.

I don't know why I used to hate Vee so much. Probably, WTAWorld.
Also, government jobs are the best. Good pay and no need to care. Bless the State.

Gaysian?
Leena is so insistent she's a lady. At this point I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. Though her marriage doesn't seem to be active anymore, without much comment.

I didn't even follow the USO. AO 2006 was the next tournament I watched. I sometimes feel like I will wake up one day and look and Lindsay will have nine Grand Slams instead of three. Since she should.

THAT match was all Lindsay's fault. I still do not forgive. That useless clod.
Why do you insist I'm not a lady? I don't care either way. I'm old and ugly now.

And it's not an insult. Your personality just seems very male to me. Women aren't usually as sarcastic or (occasionally) vulgar. Look at every Davenport Slam defeat from Wimbledon 2004 through AO 2006. You'll see that each match she lost, she should have won! Except for the Pierce RG match, though.

One of my finer moments. ajjjjjjjjjjjjjjja i am drunk also Justien won i saw Dqaniel Tosh tonight., I emt him and he is great and he wrote a heart on my prgoram. also i had LOTS of sangria Okay. I really think, if I think and go slowly, I can make sense of things. I didn't see any of the matches. I was working hard on Frday (ass I had hoped for) and tonight I saw Tosh. I lvoe The Tosh. Anyway when I returned I saw Justine had won,. and then people brought sangria to m house and i celebrated in my mind. Frotuynatewly my life was happy prior to the Justine victory, and thus my happiness does not depend upon her. But I am happy because I know she is happy, This is a pivotal victory in her careeer. Because of things that I will better express at some othe point. I also miss posting here and insoite of my determinatioin to avoiud message boards (and I have been steadfastly avoidingn WTA WOdls ) I miss my friend (all 4 of yyou) so I will express thigns here. Holy crap./ This post requores much editing but now it is not going to occur. AGIAGbisb Also at no point during this evening was I behind the whell.

I logged in to say something, then forgot what it was, and then felt like I should say something anyway, because it would look weird otherwise, even though you can't see anymore, except probably you can.

Look at every Davenport Slam defeat from Wimbledon 2004 through AO 2006. You'll see that each match she lost, she should have won! Except for the Pierce RG match, though. Why must you bring up. I remember all of these matches vividly. Wimbledon 2004 might have been the most painful. That match wasn't even televised live in the states (NBC!!!), and I just remember watching the scoreboard and going from elated and somewhat sinister (for whatever reason I couldn't stand Sharapova at that point already...if you remember her nickname was HYPE at that point) to breakdown and throwing things. Whatever, I was a teenager. Anyway, for some reason I decided to watch the end of the match again at some point in the not-so-distant past. Lindsay was actually walking around the back of the court and laughing in the third set. Dedication! I'm convinced had that summer not gone the way it did for her, she was going to walk away that year. US Open 2004 was a little beyond her control...she like couldn't move from side to side in the third set. That was unfortunate, because the tennis she played that summer was a beauty to watch, especially at La Costa. AO 2005 - I'd like to not discuss that match. Or her match with Dechy, for that matter. Pierce owner her at RG, though if you'd like a fun few minutes, check out the highlights from her 4R win over KFC. Quality television. Lindsay looked like the pinnacle of mental strength and composure. Wimbledon has been discussed. USO 2005 was a horror show. That might be one of the worst matches I've ever seen. Dementieva saved MP with a second serve ace. Word. AO 2006 v. Justine was awkward. Neither player ever played well at the same time, and it was incredibly anti-climatic. 2-6 6-3 6-2 or something along those lines I believe. It was just a really odd match.
