Rad's forehand stroke looks completely home made. A top 10 player has no business getting manhandled and overpowered by BMS. Dani game seems to have lost all its bite, now it's ball machine tennis with then occasional attempt at a ridiculous winner. Verdasco is dressed like a pizza delivery guy

Janie's girl is giving Simon Hale all she can handle. Which isn't very much, let's face it, even though she's Top 50.

Crap! Delpo's looking sluggish again! I don't think he's going to escape this Manno person. Where is the women's tennis playbook when we need it!

OK, I know Rus and Tsurenko aren't famous, but you'd think that the names "Arantxa" and "Lesya", as well as the tag "women's singles" would give the commentator a clue that those are WOMEN.
Gosh, some people. And they even get paid for this.
I really need to go to bed now.

Good night, Joann! Sleep well! Can't believe I just noticed Davydenko is slaving away out on Court 19. James Ward not making much of an impression here.

Nice recovery from Delpo. It was looking a little dicey there. Ha, they've put Pizza Boy on tv. Go Pizza Boy!

Good, first set to Pizza Boy!
Ormaechea again held with ease, but SH is doing that, too. Maybe they'll play all night.

Verdasco is dressed like a pizza delivery guy Sounds like the beginning of a really good porno. Tomic would be the top and pretend to be straight the whole time. Is it just the eye paint or is BMS the ladies version of Tim Tebow?

Pizza boy has his pissypants on today. What was the point of arguing that coaching point so long? And now 3 bps. Apparently it broke Tomic's concentration.

Melzer is down two sets.
Davydenko out already. Retirement is calling, I think.
And a break for Karlovic in the third.

A loss for Melzer. How the mighty have fallen.
Tomic is making a match of this. If he comes back, it could finish Fernando forever.

No kidding. Losing to Bratchikova? Wasn't she talking big late last year after wins over Sharapova and Wozniacki?
Paula Ormaechea a winner on her first Slam main draw match, right?
I'm impressed with how much courage Verdasco has shown in this final set. He was balls-out with his worst shot (second serve) at 4-4 and again at 5-5 he's playing rather fearlessly.

Dolgirlpolov sucking hard to random tall Aussie that charges the net constantly. Ugh.

There's the break.
If Tomic can serve him out this is a real career-stopper for Fernando. But I suppose this is the appeal of tennis. Losing a match like this leaves the loser physically intact but psychologically ravaged. It's brutal.

He won't lose to him now, though. 61 61 in the third and fourth sets.
Chardy or Dimitrov? Now in a fifth set.
Just when I get all praiseful for D. Young he goes and loses the next two sets.
