First AO watched for me = Chardy/Dimitrov final set (hott vs. hott). All square right up until Chardy served to stay in it, at which point...two DFs, a missed sitter, GSM Dimitrov. So typically French! LOL @ Pennetta. LOL @ Halep (though exciting for Ormaechea, who does seem to be somewhat more promising than the Jozamis and Craveros of this world). LOL @ Safarova. LOL @ FeVer, though that result and the manner of it were both totally predictable. for Mrs. Krumm, KING KOLYA :ttrr: :ttr:

Three games won by Watson and Robson combined *points and laughs*

Such a hometown call there - Tatishvili serving for the match, 30-30, Barty misses a sitter FH that's called in.
I can't really work out what's supposed to be impressive about Barty's game.

I can't really work out what's supposed to be impressive about Barty's game. Me too! I watched her in Wimby final and wasn't impressed at all. Apparently as WTAW taught me her super top qualities are 'keeping the ball in play' and 'playing smart', I have more then enough of that on tour.

LOL, Pironkova/Mirza and Niculescu/Cornet are on TV courts.

She hit, like...two nice FH winners in the stretch I saw. And she doesn't shriek. That's all. It's not like Tatishvili is impressive in any way, her own game is just...nothingness. Glad she closed it out after being robbed of those points, though.

Badminton on show court! I'll watch this match just for laughs.

It's a fun match. Cornet looks dead tired at 4-4 in the first set already. If she doesn't win the first set, she'll run out of gas physically and mentally.

Niculescu saves 5 SPs at 4-5 first set. We're at 75 minutes.

The way she blew five SPs in the last game was fairly hilarious. I'm enjoying this match!

After 86 minutes cornet takes the 8th SP. She's surprisingly outplaying Niculescu at the net - which makes that little difference, I think.

Rodionova on her best behavior! And outpowering Wozniacki - like everyone.

RodWoz match is dull, and Rod refuses to entertain. I'm back to Niculescu/Cornet.

Watson, Robson, Keothavong -- I understand she was ill -- but still, sheesh! Baltacha managed to win 6 games, making her the elite of the elite of British women's tennis? Hey British women's tennis, TTR! King Kolya, oh my Caught the end of Woz. As usual when she is not under pressure at all, she was able to step into the court at times and look authoritative. But of course I now know better than to think she can play that way later on in the tournament, when she'll really need to.

Niculescu finishes off the last match of the day by reeling off five games in a row Cornet netted a smash on MP and then promptly dissolved into tears.

Yup! And lived up to it's potential. I don't really mind Niculescu's slow motion game - but I do mind her annoying attitude and the noise that she makes.

Boring results to wake up to. But I found these gems on TF: Hitting the ball in the court is overrated...

Robson struggles to cover a tennis court the size it is, opponents would literally just have to bunt the ball vaguely away from her to make a winner if it was any bigger.

So Dmitrov goes for the kiss on the lips again, this time with Chardy. The RG Facebook page put up the picture and asked fans to post captions.

Apparently as WTAW taught me her super top qualities are 'keeping the ball in play' and 'playing smart', I have more then enough of that on tour. From the matches I watched last night, that trend is going to be rampant over SEWTA for next 5-10 years. Thanks, Karolina.

So I "follow" Grisha on FB and he put up a video of his AO housing. First, whatever shirt he was wearing, he should always wear, except when he doesn't wear a shirt, and both should happen frequently. Next, HE IS SUCH A HOMO. He has a "girly" (his word) Louis Vuitton manbag and gay trainers. When I become rich and famous I will accept him as my trophy boy.
