I might have to forgive her for some of her earlier stupidity. Slightly. And she still sucks. She wore the rainbow ribbon, but then undermined her act with weird ambivalence it when asked about it. Still, she's just a kid. She's trying. But Robson, 17, denied she was making a formal protest against Court, whose staunch opposition to same-sex unions sparked threats of a rally at the grand slam event by gay activists.
"I didn't see anything about a protest. I wore it because I believe in equal rights for everyone. That's it," said Robson, after her first-round loss to Jelena Jankovic. "It's not a protest, it's just a hairband."
